Alan is known as the Best Officiant in the Wedding industry. His training on and off screen makes him the perfect mix of Performer and  Officiant or like Joey from the TV show Friends calls it a “Ministainer”. He is a well known Wedding Industry Influencer.

He has worked with Brittany Spears, Kelly Clarkson  said she is obsessed with him when he appeared as a special guest on her show. In the Wedding Universe Alan was featured in Say Yes to the Dress, My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, Spouse House and the Finalie Episode of 90-day Fiance and as well as local and national news programs.

He and his Wife Al-x will be featured in a New TV Show for ABC in 2023.

He has created several reality shows concepts and is currently in consideration for a few.

Alan Katz made his TV Debut on the Gong Show at age 16 doing a comedy act. He ended up doing 6 episodes of that show as the producers loved his act so much.

From there he was on several Silly shows like: Love Connection, Blind date and Peoples Court, The Weakest Link and played various characters on The Jerry Springer show.

Alan loves improv which has proven essential to his Wedding Ceremony success. He belonged to 2 different Improv troupes, The Orange County Crazies and Public Offenders in LA.

While hosting Stand Up Comedy Shows for many years he produced a successful tour of Military Bases called Comics on Patrol.

Getting cast for several TV Commercials he started down the road to success. He found one of his true talents becoming a Writer and Producer for commercials. He was nominated for a Clio Award for one of his commercials.

Then he began Producing and Hosting Talk and Entertainment shows for Local TV Networks.

Alan is a nationally known speaker and speaks across the country on wedding industry Success. He is also a constant guest on Wedding Business podcasts

As a local Celebrity he has been interviewed by many News programs on Inside Edition, ABC, NBC, KCAL9 KTTV, PBS, CBS Telemundo and Univision. In Print he has been in LA Times, NY Times, Huffington Post, OC Register, OC and LA Weekly, Press Telegram, Grunion Gazette and many blogs and online forums.
