The Middle of Nowhere can be an amazing place. You just need to look around and see all the lessons it has to offer. I talk about a comment I heard last night, I give my analysis and feedback on the city and the country.
The stars have magical powers and remind us of the crazy world we live in. Take some time to stop and stargaze if you can, it might give you a different perspective and some different takeaways.
Let's have a weekend.

We can always learn from the environment and the world around us. Even if you are the teacher, you can become the student to help the student we are teaching. We sometimes take the correct processes out of players by trying to drive them to be better and focusing on the wrong things.
I am a huge fan of the Ancient Greeks, my favorite movies are about the history and the soldiers they had in their country. We must connect ourselves with someone greater. Your parents, siblings, family. You are a branch of them. Your ancestors watch your decisions and moves. Act with pride.
Go hunting, chase down what's yours.

If we yearn for something certain in our lives. A lot of times we must step back and listen. On and off the field if we try too hard and create tension, we will not get the desired outcome we want. If we are tense and muscle up to throw a baseball, it will not come out as hard. We must relax our mind and body to allow energy to transfer efficiently. I bring that mindset to talking with my grandfather.
I add some thoughts on someone's "spot" being taken. Nobody has a spot, nothing is guaranteed. The hungry wolf runs faster. Get moving.

The episode today is focused on mechanics and how important and essential they are in making a throw. I speak on the importance of mechanics, and the importance of not getting too carried away with them as well. We need to have balance with them. Diving too deep could take the very nature and beauty of the throw away.
I add my thoughts on being bored and how being bored may be the key to finding things you are looking for. It is hard to be bored in today's society with so much thrown in our faces and shoved into our brains due to technology and social media. Space away can be used for exponential growth.
Continue on, you're about to level up.

I returned from a week in Florida, and have brought with me many episode ideas. I will release three episodes in the next three days. Today I speak about the ability to use creativity within strength and conditioning and throwing programs.
Creativity is how we move forward so quickly in life. We lose it as we move to follow certain steps, outlines, and rules of society and training.
I speak about the longest hour of the trip being the last, the hardest set of a workout being the last. It gets hard right before you reach paradise. You are leveling up by getting past the hard quest and journey. The new level is right on the other side.
Let's have a week.

In today's episode I speak about rest and recovery, and the role they play in injury prevention.
I myself have not been the best at this concept, from experience I understand the feeling of pitching fatigued and pitching fresh. Take your rest seriously, it is important to go hard in the weight room, but at the right time.
I touch on plateaus and how they can come about after a big step forward. Enjoy, celebrate, and continue the climb, there are much higher mountains for you in this adventurous life.
Lastly, I talk about momentum, in life and in pitching mechanics, in order to deliver our best pitch, we must go backwards to gather, then we can explode forward, letting the gravity nature supplies take us forward.
Best weekend to all of you.
In today's episode, I combine some mental health and baseball concepts into one. A lot of times things we learn in the game of baseball are applicable to life as a whole and vice versa.
Today I speak about releasing tension from ourselves and the game and letting go, letting control go to something greater than us.
I touch on misinformation that our minds tell us through thoughts and stories. A lot of times things will go or have gone a different way than we believe, it is just our mood at the moment or our perception of a moment that we cling to.
Lastly, I talk about how excitement can lead to missing the moment or the moments leading up to it.
Let's make this weekend one you'll never forget.
In today's episode, I touch on a parent question I was asked after a lesson the other day, and two thoughts I thought of in the car.
Coaches can help you prepare, but they cannot perform for you, that is up to you and you alone. This is why it is hard to say what a kid or even a college player will do on any given day, there are a lot of factors that add up to performance.
We see things we didn't pay mind too before but now that someone else has them we come to believe we need them and this creates anger and jealousy, do we really need it or just want because they have it?
I talk about the world being a mural, we can paint and fill it in however we see fit, do you and have a good rest of the week.
Today I speak on the importance of stepping back and having space. Space creates opportunities for you to do things you may have not had the chance to. Every time one event takes something away, it opens an ability for another endeavor.
The second thought I have had recently is making sure you write the correct story about your injury and the effect it created on you. Every circumstance is different, however think about if you are using injury as an excuse or not.
Let's have a fucking day.
Today I speak about embracing that feeling of discomfort and allowing it to move you forward. I talk deeper into actually being grateful for the feeling because sometimes it can become a rare circumstance.
I also speak about getting away from my roots and reconnecting after thinking the grass is greener on the other side. Continue connecting with nature as daily as you can. It can be a hike. a walk, a swim, whatever. Try it and see how you feel.
Lots to work on, more space to rise.
