Josh Lyons and his wife (Staci) are the successful business owners of Pinnacle Physical Therapy and Wellness which is now a member of the University of Washington/Valley Medical Network. Josh is the father of two successful athletes and shares his own personal experience with youth sports as a father. He is a hardworking and goal-driven individual who is very involved in his community.
Before starting his lifestyle medicine and physical therapy company, Josh was a former social studies teacher for nine years before he decided to take the leap of faith and go into business with his wife. Since that day, they’ve never looked back!
In his business, they unfortunately see too many overuse injuries in kids who are too young to experience such injuries. As you’ll learn from Josh, fatigue is a real issue from a mental and physical strain that year-round sports continue to put on kids. We discuss when is it the right time to take a break? And if you take a break, are you going to miss out? That question is personal for each parent and family, but I believe as you hear from Josh, our kids need and deserve a break.
