During lockdown Kathryn was meeting some friends for a weekly Zoom, it was a great chance to vent, catch up and of course to talk about food! They became known as the “Coffee and Cake” chats. On the show today Kathryn spoke to Olympic Gold Medalist Paul O'Donovan on his return from Tokyo, Orla Foley joined us from Derrybeg in Co. Donegal, she is the sister of the late Rugby legend Antony Foley and told us of her efforts in aid of charity along the Wild Atlantic Way these past 10 months.

In October 2016 the Munster and Ireland rugby legend, Anthony Foley, died unexpectedly as the team prepared to play a Champions Cup match in Paris. His sister Orla Foley has been cycling along the Wild Atlantic Way, in her spare time for 10 months now, raising money for Charity.

Best known for his performances on the rugby pitch Rory Best talks to Kathryn about a new challange he's about to embark on as he plans to walk over 280 kilometres from Co Down to Co Mayo in aid of Cancer Fund for Children.

Aine Lisa Shannon, marine biologist and science communicator joins Kathryn to tell us more about Jellyfish!

One year ago today, on 4 August 2020, a large amount of ammonium nitrate stored at the port of the city of Beirut exploded. An Officer in the Irish Defence Forces, was stationed in Beirut on the day of the explosion. He joined Kathryn to talk about the documentary he made.
