There are a lot of employers who are treating their staff well, but sadly there seem to be more that aren't and we chat about some of the problems & possible solutions to helping people with Long Covid (& other chronic conditions) to recover whilst remaining in work.

Episode 40 of the Long Covid Podcast is a chat with the wonderful Dr Boon Lim. We talk about the heart and how it's connected to the rest of the body, what can go wrong when something like Long Covid affects the body and how we can help ourselves and get better (what more could we want?!)
I have already listened to this episode several times myself and actually felt instantly slightly better after hearing it! It's quite a long listen but it's really worth getting to the end, even if you need to take a break.

Episode 34 of the Long Covid Podcast is a chat with Sam Munslow about her experiences with Covid and then Long Covid, and how that led to her new book "We Will Covive" and her becoming The Covid Coach.
Sam's book is written with diary entries followed by reflections and it was fascinating reading it because I saw so many parallels from my own experiences, and had had similar reflections myself! We also talk about how our thoughts can be harmful and how "mental self-harming" adds even more nastiness on top of the physical experience of Long Covid.
