Self-love is the most fundamental element of humanity. Having an understanding of who you are, equips you for interacting with your environment. It's hard to recognize self-love when you don't have it. It's something that you don't even realize you're missing until it's within you because then you know who you are. 

You learn to honor your feelings and lead with peace. You let go of fear, shame, worry, and guilt to live in the present moment with gratitude. You're not trying to control, fight or hide anything which allows you to live in truth with no fear.  

With self-love, you come to have an understanding that all relationships matter and everything is connected. 

SELF-LOVE AFFIRMATIONS 
Making life an occasion is a Self-Love affirmation.  MakelIfeanOccasion! is about getting the most out of the least and paying attention to the details, making the little things the big things. It's feeling like your life is a vacation, not needing to take a vacation from your life. 

An affirmation is manifesting. You affirm an idea that you need your mind to feel and believe; it's reprograming your thoughts and developing core values. Words have energy; words have power. The more you believe what you are speaking, the more it will come to you.

Creating A Manifest Board

The “Vision Board." 

The first thing we do differently is not to call it a "Vision Board."  We call it a Manifest Board; that word is about action!  Vision is seeing something.  When you have a vision of something, you are not touching it; you are not feeling it... you are just looking at it.  Manifest means the present, to appear,  "to be evidence of," that says it all!  

Create an Art Piece

Your Manifest Board is an artistic expression of your manifested desires.  I say manifested because it already is; you have to start thinking this way immediately!  This is a chance to be creative, which is part of the process.  Creating is giving; you are giving life to your manifestation.  Create something that you are attracted to.  It should be an art piece (everyone is an artist).  Find a picture of yourself that embodies the essence of what you are manifesting.  See if you can take the image to the next level.  Figure out how to use a photo editor app (we use PicsArt), add an inspiring statement, use W.O.W.,  put an exciting filter on it... thing outside the box!  Learn what you like.  Take the upgraded picture and print a custom board.  I go to Vista Print and use their custom foam board.  My standard is an 18" x 24", but do what works for your space and what you feel.

What you put out is what you receive back.  Get inspired... then inspire yourself to greatness!

The Shame Game: Knowledge is Your Power
98's in general work in the shame department. Understanding what the shame agenda is meant to do, takes away the power. When you are going through Self-Discovery, shame is how they try to keep you attached to them and their narrative. Unless they have you in shackles, all they have is shame. We treat the shame that has been used on us like comedy and a learning tool to share with others.

Remember, your growth and self-love are a direct reflection and reminder of what they lack. Narcissists know if you are growing, you will outgrow them. So they try to keep you on their level with shame, fear, worry, and guilt, don't let it become a distraction.

Working For YOU: Turning People Pleasing to a Positive
My whole working career, I was a people-pleasing over-achieving employee.  I was always top in my career field because I wanted the accolades, the outside acknowledgment, and praise for being AWESOME!   I needed outside validation to feel good about myself and helpful so others would find value in me and need me.
