Happy Sunday to you all! For many, Sunday is a day to rest. Most have this day of the week off from work.

Not this fella. My writing and podcasting is a 7-day-a-week, 365-day-a-year kind of thing. I don’t like time off. I enjoy working hard at my goals and kicking ass. I’ve been at it for 6 months here on Substack, and I’m so proud of the results I’m having so far.

But there’s much more to come.

In today’s episode, I talk about writing and podcasting. Specifically, what led me to Substack after 2 1/2 years as a top writer on Medium. And why I pivoted to make this platform my main focus after doing so well elsewhere.

I rarely write about writing, so this podcast episode was a good opportunity to give a little backstory and history about how I’ve reached my early goals here. And what I’m planning for 2025. I appreciate you taking an interest, thank you for lending me your ears, as always. &:^)

Happy Saturday, Everyone. In today’s podcast episode, I talk about an article I wrote this morning that has me thinking about whether or not Americans are as divided as they seem. Politics and religion play a huge role in how well or poorly we get along.

I want to add mainstream media and social media to that, too.

Happy Friday, Y’all! The best part of having Christmas in the middle of the week is the feeling as if there are two weekends in one 7 day period. I’m glad to be back with you today, and in this household, Fridays mean three things:

Cooking, Vino, and Music.

On my drive over to the grocery store, I was listening to music. Specifically, Lady Gaga’s first big album, “The Fame.” I hadn’t heard it in its entirety in a decade or so. I was pleasantly surprised that I remembered most of the songs, even the ones that you don’t hear on the radio.

Damn, I love me some Lady Gaga. And music in general. In today’s episode, I talk about my history with music, what it was like being raised in a Christian household by a pastor father, and how it’s somewhat amazing that I got into music as much as I did despite them thinking that it was evil.

Good afternoon, Wonderful People!

I’m talking to all of you who are lovely, kind, and would never support an asswipe like Donald Trump and his sidekick, President-Elect Musk. Elonald Trusk supporters are not welcome on my social media accounts. I enforced this rule once again just an hour ago.

I thought I’d exterminated these pests and bug-bombed the fuck out of my Facebook, but some are still alive and kicking.

No matter. The Orkin Man’s got nothing on me. I’m happy to block every douche nozzle that pops up from the cracks and crevices of my social media accounts. It’s an ongoing battle, but I will win. We are not required to keep racist, bigoted, sexist, Nazi-supporting dicks from the MAGA cult on our friends lists.

If I won’t hang out with you in real life, why in the hell would I allow you on my social media?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! It’s Christmas Day and the Festivities are in full effect here at the Provencio household. Do you like the gift my sister-in-law so generously gave me? I think I look good in black.

It matches my cold, dead heart.

Just teasing, but I adore this hoodie. It very much describes how I feel about President-Elect Musk and Vice-President/Political Hack Donald Trump. To hell with those losers and anyone who supports their evil, fascist agenda. I’ll resist and fight with everything I have until they are gone.

Anyway, enough about those asshats. Merry Christmas to you all and Happy Holidays, too. I decided to recite my new Christmas parody poem that I wrote yesterday, I hope you enjoy it. Then I share my top 10 favorite Christmas movies and what I enjoy about them. I hope you guys find it entertaining and amusing.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday and Christmas Eve! I’m in a happier, more festive mood than yesterday. I listened to yesterday’s podcast episode and could tell I was dragging. Being in a poor mood doesn’t translate well to audio recordings.

Oh well, I’m human. So sue me.

Well, don’t. I’m already worried about that enough after the funny parody poem I wrote today. It spoofed “The Night Before Christmas” and featured the Trump family, President-Elect Elon Musk, and Russian President, Vladimir Putin. It may land me in that joint Brittany Griner stayed in, but it sure made me laugh.

Good afternoon, Everyone. I’m feeling somewhat somber today, less than 48 hours from Christmas. What should be a happy, joyous time of year doesn’t feel that way, to me. At least today.

It’s because we’re getting closer to January 20th. Fuck.

I’m not looking forward to having President Musk and his lap dog, Donald Dick taking office. I worry that there will be repercussions against people who write negative articles about them. Even against those posting memes on social media or speaking their mind about the fascist regime that will be taking power in less than a month.

In today’s episode, I talk about what 2025 America might look like with these douchebag billionaires running the show. It’s not going to be pretty. Some days I’m optimistic, but today isn’t one of those days. Let me know in the comments how you’re feeling about all of this. I want to be sure you’re ok. Hang in there, my friends.

Happy Holidays to you all!

This afternoon, I found myself thinking about how Christmas Eve is only 48 hours away. We are going to visit my folks a few towns over which will keep in line with the tradition my family celebrated growing up. We always celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve.

That seems odd, to some. For us, it was just routine. Our routine.

I explain why that was, in today’s podcast episode. And I reminisce about memorable gifts from Christmas past. And why giving is much more fun for me at this stage of life than receiving.

Well hello, my friends! Happy Saturday before Christmas. I hope your holiday season is going well. We had our Christmas party last night and it was badass. An epic time was had by all, even if Mooch passed out early like she did.

This was surprising, in the middle of a bunch of half-drunk clowns playing “Name That Tune” on YouTube music and being somewhat loud and obnoxious. But it was past her bedtime, after all. We had a blast though, a festive time indeed.

I was thinking about how things have changed so much from the first 21 years of my life. Church Christmas parties were never this lit or so much fun. It made me think about the journey I’ve had from being born into a controlling, religious family to the free-spirited person who ran out of fucks to give many moons ago.

Hello everyone. Happy Friday afternoon to you and yours. Today, I’m fed up and pissed off. I read an article late last night before bed, and I lost sleep over it.

Fuck Elon Musk and his almost-half trillion-dollar fortune.

That’s right. One human being on this planet has THAT much money. 90 times Donald Trump’s net worth. It’s no wonder he’s pretty much a puppet president, with Musk calling the shots from the shadows.

Including denying 190 million dollars to fund children’s cancer research. Look that one up. I read that and was disgusted. He’s attempting to control the GOP lawmakers behind the scenes. And it appears to be working. Give this episode a listen to see what I mean. And fight back. Know your enemy. It’s not people like you, it’s the wealthy.
