  • Billionaires Don't Give a Fuck About Your Finances

Hey Folks, Happy Monday afternoon to you all. I was planning on making this a more light-hearted episode of the podcast today, but I changed my mind at the last minute. I received some really douchey comments from some asshat on Substack about Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and the MAGA movement.

Basically, I’M the toxic hater for not wanting to be ruled by the billionaire class. It’s bad enough that Trump has been re-elected and is nominating the worst, wealthiest people for his cabinet. But when some dickweed tries to gaslight me on MY Substack posts, then plans change.

I needed to call out the stupidity of people voting against their best interests and supporting the worst, wealthiest, most-entitled politicians.

I’d love to hear your thoughts about the topic, if you don’t mind listening to this one. Please let us know where you stand in the comments section. I appreciate you lending me your ears, as always. &:^)

  • Nobody Wants Your Sloppy Seconds

    What’s happening, Y’all?

Happy Sunday to you! I hope things are going well and that you’re happy, safe, and having a great weekend. I love cooking for my family, especially on the weekends. After a trip to the grocery store with Mooch, I started thinking about all of the dinners I’ve cooked in thirteen years for my family.

That’s a lot of great food and a shit-ton of leftovers.

In today’s podcast episode, I talk about being the family’s cook, chef, and pusher of leftovers. And the resistance I sometimes face about that last one, depending on what type of food it is. Perhaps you can relate.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this one. It’s a new episode, so no sloppy seconds for my subscribers and fans. Thank you for your support, I’ll always make these tasty and fresh for you. &:^)

  • We Have an Overrated Opinion of Our Own Importance

    Well, Helloooooooo!

Hope you are all having a badass Saturday afternoon. I know I am. I have a topic for y’all today based on an expression that my father used to say:

“People have an overrated opinion of their own importance.”

Even as a grade school kid back in the 80s, I knew what he meant by that. We think that everything we say or do is SO important. That people SO care about what we think about every little thing. This is never more evident than in the comments section of any article we write or meme that we post.

People just have to contradict and explain why you’re wrong. Even on opinion pieces that I write. I’ve had some even try to debate funny status updates and joke memes before. Like, read the room, Bro. Nobody cares about what you think about every little thing.

Anyway, give this one a listen and let me know your thoughts. I actually do care about opinions, when they aren’t ignorant or ridiculous. And I appreciate your kind support, thank you for lending me your ears on this one.

*I’m tagging my three favorite Substack people in this since I mentioned them in this episode. Check them out, you’ll be glad you did. &:^)

  • Substack Bitch-Slapped Medium to Become My Preferred Writing Platform

    Hey Everyone!

Today, I wanted to talk about Substack, and how I’ve grown a large following in just 4 1/2 months. I only thought of Substack as a backup to my main writing platform, Medium. I never figured that there would be a better-paying writing site that was more fun and had better potential.

Damn, was I ever wrong. Substack kicks Medium’s ass and it isn’t even close.

So let me tell you how I came to be a writer, at the age of 47, and the steps I’ve taken in my three-year Writer’s Journey. It’s been a pretty incredible ride with unexpected twists and turns along the way. It’s one of the most badass things I’ve ever done and there’s no going back.

Substack is the main reason for this optimism and confidence of mine. You’ll see, thank you for lending me your ears again today. Episode #51 in 51 days, let’s GO!

  • There's Something Weird About MAGA

    Happy Wednesday to you all.

In today’s episode, which is number 50 in 50 days by the way (Go ME!), I talk about some odd characteristics that MAGA folks tend to share. I also make my feelings clear about these things in the way that you’ve come to know and appreciate.

Spoiler Alert: I’m feeling better than yesterday, so this one is spicy.

I appreciate you guys sticking with me these past couple of months. When I started this daily podcast, I had no idea I’d enjoy it this much. Enough to record 50 of them in 50 days. Enough to power through yesterday and record one when I was sick. Enough to do 100 in 100 days.

  • I'll Record This Shit and Then Go the Fuck to Sleep

    Hey Y’all,

Man, it’s been a day. As I mentioned yesterday, I headed into Walgreens to get two shots, one for shingles, the other, a COVID Booster. Holy hell, I feel like hammered crap. I’m surprised I was able to get my two articles done earlier.

It was a struggle. Today’s episode of this podcast is a labor of love. I just about pulled the plug on it, but that’s not my style. Instead, it’s a bit shorter than usual, but there’s a really funny bonus to it after the first half.

I hope you enjoy it. I’m going to get this published and go the fuck to sleep. Tomorrow will be a better episode. Thank you for listening, I appreciate your kind support, lending me your ears, and your free and paid subscriptions. They’re so appreciated, especially when I’m under the weather and looking for something to make me happy. &:^)

  • I've Seen the Man Use the Needle, I've Seen the Needle Use the Man

Good afternoon, Everyone! Happy Monday to you. Hopefully, you’re back in the swing of things after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. If you’ve had people visiting your home, perhaps you’re happy to be back in a normal, less chaotic routine.

I’m all about routine at this stage of life. Being fifty, I am starting to embrace my normal schedule and busy daily routine. Today, I took a bit of a detour from that. I needed to quit procrastinating and get some shit done. In today’s podcast, I talk about needles, being sick as hell, and ways to get outside of my comfort zone to take care of business.

I hope you enjoy this episode. Thank you so much for tuning in daily to these podcasts. It means a lot to have the support of so many. We’re now downloaded in 113 countries and are averaging about 1000 downloads daily. I couldn’t do it without you all. Thank you for your paid and free subscriptions, they mean so much! &:^)

  • People Don't Like Christians Because They're Hypocrites

Happy Sunday, Everyone! In today’s podcast, I talk about the reasons people don’t care for most self-proclaimed “Christian” people. There are several reasons for this, and the main ones drive me nuts.

I’m sure I’m not alone on this.

After realizing what time it was shortly before recording this podcast, I realized how much hypocrisy, bigotry, and greed I witnessed within the churches I attended until I was 21 years old. It was difficult to observe as an intelligent child and young man, hearing about the teachings of Jesus and watching so many go completely the opposite direction. Those early lessons about willful ignorance and hypocrisy come back to me frequently, as I observe our country here in 2024.

You cannot support a convicted felon and sex-offending racist, bigoted, ill-mannered ignorant buffoon who is bent on being a dictator while calling yourself a Christian. I mean, you can, but people will laugh at you and have zero respect for your beliefs.

Until we strive to become better human beings with kindness and acceptance in our hearts, we’ll never be a truly great nation. Here are some thoughts about the topic, I hope you enjoy it and tend to agree. Thank you for lending me your ears! &:^)

  • Trump-Supporting MAGA Nazis Are Your Enemies

    Good afternoon, Y’all.

Today’s podcast focuses on realizing who is and isn’t your friend. And more importantly, who’s your enemy. The most vocal, loud-mouthed, ill-mannered Trump supporters are my enemies.

They are the ones who voted against the best interests of my family. With a half-Vietnamese Bride, two mixed-race children, and a gay daughter, I have every reason in the world to take racism, bigotry, sexism, and homophobia seriously. I will not allow disrespect or harm to come to my loved ones.

You openly Nazi motherfuckers, take warning. My Bride has been called racist slurs twice in public before. Guess who wasn’t with her when both instances happened? Yep, that’s right. ME. Because a racist at heart is fearful. They’re cowards.

I hope you enjoy this somewhat angry, determined podcast today. I’m not in a good mood. I’m fed the fuck up with Trump’s MAGA bullshit. I detest the hypocrisy of the far-right and the Christofascists who preach one thing and do the opposite. I will not play nice with Nazis.

    Know your enemy.
