This week I am so in awe of being able to interview the one and only Dougal Allan. World Multisport champion, Ironman champion, Red Bull defiance team champion.. and now onto new adventures with Team NZ sailing. I have admired Douglas racing, tenacity and accomplishments from my own experiences in Challenge Wanaka when he was one of the leading Pro racers, and event winner. A true humble chap with admiral time for us all. Take a listen.. its worth it. 

Weight loss seems to be the height of all things just now without it being a focus on health. You can improve your health markers without it being about weight loss.  This weeks episode is sharp and to the point about why you shouldn't feel like weight loss is your only option. It simply is not.

It can be jolly hard trying to reach our end goal without losing ourselves in the process. It's hard to stay on task when we can't seem to see any progress.  We learn how to stay on course when it seems like its not working at all.

Just like carbs won't make you gain weight, neither will fat.  We look into it a little under the base layer on what it means when you consume the different types of fats and what response they require when consumed. KISS keeping it simple stupid as always.
