-Make it simple, Keep it simple

-Make it accessible and achievable to all. (anyone can have this. Anyone can do this).

-Not religious, or trying to build the ‘wow’ factor of the teacher. 

-Reproduce it. “The proof is in the pudding”.

-Loves to find a way of taking complex truths and making them simple. Take complex truth, work it, see it, dream it, squeeze it, and let one simple drop of easily receivable truth drop out the bottom. Take it and then serve it hot with an illustration!

 eg. Jesus with parables. Trinity: St Patrick of Ireland and the 3 leaf clover, Today : H2O (water) in 3 forms etc.

-sees in stories, analogies, rhythms and seasons of learning. 

-No ’secret teaching’. Give it all. Lay it all out for anyone.

Needs attention:

-Don’t blame the people when they don’t ‘get it’. Own this problem myself, and help solve it. (

-patience - see where people are getting stuck and don’t get annoyed. Instead, find the ‘knowledge gap’ and fill it.

• May want the whole plan up front and get frustrated until it comes.
• Needs to keep the main things the main things. (macro and well as micro views. 
• sometimes the systems can become more important than the end-goal
• can overwork and get stressed.

-People with the prophetic gift have a desire to see equity and justice applied to all parts of life. They are motivated by a cause, and will go to great lengths to help others see the need for action, even if they appear insensitive.  

-They need to know the ‘why’ early. even before the ‘what' or the ‘how'.

-They often feel or see things early. They are sometimes called seers (seers - see-ers) in the OT.

-They see patterns and are often rhythmic or athletic (kinetic).

-They can ’see’ notes, charts, patterns quickly.

-They need to check everything from the Word of God.

-They don’t see timing as clearly.

-They need to settle all their feelings into the truth of God’s Word and ways for safe boundaries.

-In the context of the church, this gift is the divine strength and ability to speak life, future, hope - and bring clarity to Bible truth, in some cases foreseeing God’s plan.

-They are often musical, singers, designers, creative, environments/ambience setters,

7 truths about gifts

1.All are good gifts for us, chosen especially by Our Father.

The suffix ‘-ma’ means ‘made from’. Gifts made of charis. 

-Joy - chairo comes from this 'group of 3' words in the Greek.

Genesis 1:27-28

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (28) God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

God’s creation, and “It was good” 6x in (Gen 1). God said “It was not good” once.

Genesis 2:18

The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

Genesis 2:20b

But for Adam no suitable helper was found.

A "suitable helper” (Heb:- Ezer Kenegdo).

John Eldredge says "Eve is the crescendo, the final, astonishing work of God. She is the crown of creation! Not an afterthought. Not a nice addition like an ornament on a tree. She fills a place in the world nothing and no one else can fill.”

God called the first woman “ezer” in the original Hebrew, a name he embraces for himself throughout the Old Testament! Our God is a strong help, a warrior! God calls himself ezer, as he does women.

2.When Israel appealed for military allies in battle.

3.In reference to God Himself as Israel’s help for military purposes (in this context, ezer appears 16 times!).

**Ezer kenegdo" means warrior; strong help; man’s perfect match. It’s the picture of two parts of equal weight leaning against one another.

Big Note: If you are single, Jesus is your strength. Singleness is your opportunity to advance an already influential and satisfying life.

1 Corinthians 7:32-35

I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord. (33) But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife— (34) and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord’s affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world—how she can please her husband. Heb:'tselaʿ. The word is used about forty times in the Hebrew Bible but is not an anatomical term in any other passage. This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens. (5) Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, (6) but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. (7) Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

2. The joy of preparing for Adam a ‘paradise’ experience (in Garden of Eden)

Gen 1:28-30 NIV

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (29) Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. (30) And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

Genesis 2:8-14, 19-20 NIV

Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. (9) The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (10) A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.
