While Donald Trump (again) makes history, being figuratively "arrested" and arraigned on 37 charges in Miami today, his (newest of two) attorneys is on the sidewalk giving the media the "whatabout" rhetoric we've gotten from LIndsey Graham, but now also by Senator Marco Rubio - who when chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, opined (we have the audio) about mishandling of classified intel and how it benefits enemies of the nation. Derp.
I also share a concise Twitter thread from Mark Hertling, retired US Army General and current CNN national & intelligence contributor. This gets me wondering just WHEN the "military vote" is going to stop overwhelmingly support the party and its politicians that are way more dangerous to them?
Get a load of this: it seems a couple of Atlanta City Council members are fond of the idea that we need to raise taxes in the city now. Not because they've committed $67 million to the public facility training facility, mind you, but because we need to take better care of our parks, which comes with a much smaller price tag. That's rich.
Lastly, Jon Hamm gives Atlanta props for being ATLANTA - and the reason he gave are - in my opinion - why rural Georgian conservative voters loathe Atlanta. Hint: it's that our diversity and success across a board and diverse spectrum translates to us socializing and dining together.
