When he was handing in his letter of resignation, his boss asked "What are you going to do now?" Jim responded, "I'm going to teach sales!". From there on he started Sales Octane. This provided people with the fundamentals of selling. A big GOLD NUGGET from this episode was salespeople are not auditory learners. They need to practice it. The best way for someone to self-assess is to record their pitch on their phone. They become more self-aware!
