This week marks one year since girls in Afghanistan had their hopes of returning to school dashed by the Taliban.

Girls are now banned from receiving a high school education, as well as from universities and many workplaces.

But an organisation, LEARN, led by human rights activist Pashtana Durrani, is working to educate girls in secret.
