In this week’s Housewives of True Crime episode, Gretchen and Tabitha are bringing you to the small town of Neptune City, NJ, a place with a population of about 28,000 people. While you may be expecting small town charm and a tight-knit community, it housed the dark and disturbing homicide of young Sarah Stern on Dec. 3, 2016.

While you may be expecting small town charm and a tight-knit community, it housed the dark and disturbing homicide of young Sarah Stern on Dec. 3, 2016.
“Sarah was a budding disco biscuit: 19, very pretty, artistic, loved the arts, and actually had real talent.” – Tabitha (8:28)
While the only initial lead in this case was an abandoned car on a bridge, Sarah’s family and friends simply couldn’t imagine her taking her own life, and the evidence really didn’t point that direction. The only significant information came from her high school friend Liam who spent the evening with her, and his story spoke of a seemingly normal night… That is, until his friend Anthony stepped in and offered the police details on a chilling plan that Liam had shared with Anthony a few months back. In an effort to bring the truth to light, a classic sting operation was planned, and Liam sang like a canary with absolutely no remorse…
“Liam spills it. He holds absolutely nothing back in a way that would make you want to punch him in the face and then slowly watch alligators attack him.” – Tabitha (32:27)
