Ariel J. Luna has been serving veterans in higher education and government for more than 18 years. Luna is originally from Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Starrett City section of East New York. AJ's mother is from the Dominican Republic and his father is from Argentina. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at the start of 2000 and he was stationed as a communication soldier in Fort Gordon, Georgia, South Korea, and Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After he left the Army in 2002, he joined the NY National Guard where he was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004-2005. While serving in the National Guard, Luna was pursing his bachelor’s degree at Brooklyn College. He completed his master’s in administrative science with a concentration in Non-Profit Organizational Development, Human Resource Administration, and Global Leadership from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2012.

After a successful tenure at FDU, Luna has recently appointed by Bergen County’s new County Executive, James Tedesco III, as the new Director of Veteran Services for Bergen County. Luna plans to bring his experience and expertise to serve the 30,000 resident veterans of Bergen County. Luna focused his efforts on housing, employment opportunities, and good service referral providers. 

Luna also served as the Deputy Director for the Office of Government and Community Relations for the NJ Department of Transportation from 2021-2022. He is also one of the founders of the NJ SOS Veteran Stakeholders Group.  A Northern NJ non-profit that hosts quarterly county meetings throughout the Northern part of the State that gives organizations an opportunity to network and refer veterans to various services in the community.  He assists in putting together Suicide Awareness Seminars to educate the community about resources available to veterans in crisis.  There have been successful events in Elmwood Park, Newark, and Trenton.

  He is married to his wife, Shevonne Murray-Luna, and has 2 beautiful daughters, Mariah Angel Luna, 10, and AJ Luna, 7.

Dr. Stefanelli saves lives everyday with his Private Practice in Verona NJ specializing in Addictions and PTSD in law Enforcement.

Dr. Stefanelli has joined Kevin and Mike through group therapy and is the genesis of what this show has become.

Michele Traina is a stand up comedian and creator of Divorce Diaries a national one woman comedy show and TV series in development. Michele has performed all over the country and made appearances on Tamron Hall, Wendy Williams, Tea with Gary Vee, and onstage with Chippendales Las Vegas- for the Ultimate Divorce Party.  Michele uses humor to poke fun at divorce, being a single mom, and a former theatre teacher. Michele has won awards for Divorce Diaries TV Pilot, her short film 180, and has a comedy special on Amazon Prime - Michele Traina: Divorce Diaries. She loves love, that's why she got divorced.

When John Capone was first diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD) at the young age of 39, he never imagined acting in a movie with A-list celebrities. The news of his diagnosis was tough to handle at first, and he quickly became overwhelmed overwhelmed by depression and anxiety. But this tough guy was determined to not let PD get the best of him. With the help of his friends, family, faith, and the power of social media, he chose a more optimistic path.

With six years of life with PD under his belt, John (now 45 years old) inspires others with his motivational and no-nonsense messages, and in an interesting turn of events, these messages gave him an unexpected opportunity of a lifetime.

In his effort to increase awareness of young onset Parkinson’s disease (YOPD) and support those who are having a tough time, John started posting messages of optimism and hope to others living with this disease on his Instagram account. His positive messages and unique delivery caught the eye of director Grant Singer who cast him in a movie – playing a character with Parkinson’s disease. Reptile will be released on. October 6th 23 NETFLIX

Angela Pisano grew up in Rutherford New Jersey during the 1960's and '70's.  Rutherford was a tree lined bedroom community of NYC.  She was an only child who lived with her mom and dad, and their terrier, Cindy.  She had a typical suburban childhood filled with all the trimmings; Mitzie and Larry made sure of that. There was one exception, that was a secret, which she held close since the age of seven.  Dad was in the Mafia.  He worked in NY and NJ often with various families, however if he had to be slotted he worked mostly with the Genovese Family from the late 1930's through  the early 1980's as a soldier.  In Angela's "outside" world dad was a baker in NYC, but in Angela's "inside" world dad was a "racket guy" and she knew he gambled with other guys and it wasn't legal. Sam DeCalvacante, Angelo "Gyp" DeCarlo, Ben "Lefty" Ruggiero were all men she spoke with on the phone, and met in person, among others.

Angela went onto college for teaching.  She graduated and taught elementary school, as well as middle school.  She married her husband Joe in 1985, a "civilian" and they had two children, Christopher and Gabriella.  Angela, just like that shed her inside world, and always lived in suburbia with all the trimmings, and no secrets, except her dad was in the Mafia.

While doing the Suffering Podcast, Kevin and Mike,  have taken a journey through some of the deepest, darkest traumas that humans can experience. As a commemoration to this very somber time of year, the guys revisit their personal 9/11 experiences.  From the day of till the present day, the loss of friends and family haunt them forever.

Bill MAZUR is a 25-year law enforcement veteran and retired in 2017 at the rank of Deputy Chief of Police. Bill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Stockton University and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Training and Development in the Police Graduate Studies Program from Seton Hall University.

Bill is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session #256, and served as a Master Instructor with the FBI National Academy Associates, in their Comprehensive Officer Resiliency Training Program. He also acts as a Liaison for the NJ State Resilience Program for law Enforcement and actively serves on the Health and Wellness Committee of The NJ State Association of Chiefs of Police.

Bill has worked in the behavioral healthcare field exclusively, as a Public Safety Liaison, to provide specialized treatment guidance for public safety personnel, first responders and their families who may find themselves in a personal crisis because of a mental health issue or substance use disorder.

Blake Rosell grew up in South Jersey near the Atlantic City area in a little shore town called Margate attending high school at Saint Augustine Prep in Richland , NJ were he played basketball and baseball.

Basketball came out on top as his dominate sport and Blake received a scholarship to play basketball at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA for the Bulldogs finally transferring and finishing out his college basketball career right in his own backyard at Stockton University for the Ospreys graduating with a BA degree in Communication Studies. 

Blake worked in finance in Philadelphia Center City for a short period of time right after college and then ended up teaching and coaching boys basketball at Wildwood Catholic Academy North Wildwood, NJ for 2 1/2 years and then St. Joseph Academy in Hammonton, NJ for 2 years .

Currently, Blake does his own radio show / podcast out of south Jersey completing his 3rd year behind the microphone on air. It is based out of south Jersey interviewing guests from all different industries. Actors, comedians, politicians, Netflix movie casts, business owners, Athletes, etc. Blake has all different walks of life on the show as they tell their story on how they got into their field of business. 

Blake’s show is called “The Big Man’s Report Live” with your host Blake Rossell. It is aired on WOND South Jersey’s Leader in NewsTalk Radio, 92.3 FM - 1400 AM . The show is also streamed on YouTube and Blake’s Instagram page.

Tom Flynn has been around lawn enforcement since January 1997 starting as a civilian dispatcher. Tom was promoted to sergeant in 2005 and then to Lieutenant in 2015. His most enjoyable assignment was being a member of the swat team from 2002 to 2004. Most of Tom‘s experience was in uniform but for 7 1/2 years Tom worked as the agencies accreditation manager developing and writing policy and procedure. all of these accomplishments, pale in comparison to being a father to his 3 Children. 

Being exposed to critical incidents was what he signed up for, but they left a lasting scar on his soul.  As the horrors of the Job began to compound, Tom’s home life began to fell apart. On March 28, 2019, Tom's spouse called 911 during a verbal argument listening to his three children crying out saying daddy please don’t go still haunts him to this day. His life was turned upside down. 

After having the temporary restraining order dropped in April 2019, four days later, Tom was arrested in the driveway was home for assault with weapons and possession of high-capacity magazines from inherited firearms from his father. Tom was incarcerated in the Essex county jail, and then transported to Bergen county for his own protection. After spending 12 days in lock up and on house arrest, Tom was facing 20 years in prison under the graves act. 

Tom has been in a fight to reclaim his life after hitting rock-bottom. His suffering has been a springboard to motivate and help others in similar situations. Tom still fights the alienation of his three beloved children.
