Foster McCune is not your everyday 23 year old. Instead of going back to school for another year of eligibility with Georgetown Soccer, he continued his relationship with   The National Links Trust. A few conversations later, he was found setting up for a Golfers Journal Event with Casey Bannon. "Does this guy work for us"?
"Maybe"...

Foster is almost 2 years into running an event schedule that puts ambitious golf nuts on the same piece of ground together for a weekend. Almost two dozen states covered (just with events, no travel), many thousands of miles in a murked out sprinter van, a shit ton of phone calls, planning, early mornings, "where are we getting dinner's", and "can I stay at your place in a few weeks" have taken place since that day with Casey during COVID.

And in a big way, that's Foster's Tie.

Get out there, be active, get involved, see come cool stuff, hold some responsibility, and enjoy the sunrises- because there will be many. And creating relationships with the people who bring soul to the game-- that brings us energy.

Tony Aloi is a former pro golfer turned assistant golf pro turned part time chef turned full time private chef. Tony has cooked for friends on the PGA Tour and does tons of private dinner parties for people on and near Sea Island. If you need any tips or inspiration on your pasta game, Tony is your guy, but pasta is not all he does. As Tony has expanded his business, his menu has followed. Steaks, chicken, fried shrimp, vegan food, the man does it all, and it all looks delicious. My real takeaway from this episode is Tony's passion. You can't fake loving what you do, and it won't take long to gather how much Tony enjoys what he does every single day.

This was a fun topic to tackle. We have talked a lot about LIV at The Tie and although we may not love everything about it, we do believe it is important to not act as if it doesn't exist or that when players go LIV that they shouldn't have the opportunity to talk about their decision and experiences on this new tour.

We figured there isn't really a better guy to talk to about this to get candid insight to his decision than HV3. Harold is a very straight shooter and just an all around good guy. His willingness to be very open about what went into his decision and ultimately why the LIV tour made sense for him and his family was very refreshing and I think it is a healthy thing for many people to hear.
