AndroidRSSOur clinic, Solace Emotional Health, provides mental health therapy for sexual addiction, marital quality, and ancillary symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Our therapeutic approach with these issues consists of 2 layers: (1) helping the patient develop critical skills to manage emotional surges (rather than being managed by them); and (2) to address the emotional and cognitive undercurrents that often undergird dysfunctional and unwanted behaviors. However, if a troubling or traumatic experience has been repressed, forgotten, or imbedded deeply into a patient’s subconscious, it can be difficult and very time consuming to identify and dissolve the dilemma.
We have found that Dennis Parker’s protocols of Clinical Hypnotherapy, combined with his unique “Spiritual Mind Management” program, quickly identifies unconscious emotional undercurrents, skillfully desensitizes them, and adds an extra layer of emotional management, that provides confidence and permanence to patient’s recovery efforts.
Recently, Dennis worked with one of our patients that had been diligent in daily recovery efforts for several months, but had not been able to sustain his sexual addiction sobriety for longer than a week. In just 2 sessions of hypnotherapy, Dennis helped this patient identify a deeply buried issue, desensitized it, and instructed the patient how to better manage unwanted thoughts, memories, and emotions. To date, this patient has not had a relapse.
Another acquaintance stopped by our clinic, suffering with night terrors and unbearable cravings to relapse (after almost 2 years of sobriety). She had been given the financial approval for 8 sessions at another agency. She agreed to meet with Dennis Parker for a session or two, in an attempt to identify a specific issue to work on, thereby accelerating the effectiveness of her pre-approved therapy program. She had one session with Dennis Parker. In a follow-up phone call, she said, “the nightmares and craving are gone. They haven’t returned. At this point, I don’t think I will need any more therapy.”
“Spiritual Mind Management” is effective, and extremely efficient in this therapeutic work.

Listen to a young man Addison Evans tell his story of what happened to him as he was serving a mission for his church and became so plagued with such negative thinking that he ended his service early. AndroidRSSAddison Evans came in contact with hypnotherapy after his church leader and Stake President, referred him to Spiritual Mind Management Hypnotherapy for services.
He explains, “I had recently gotten home from serving as a full time missionary in the Philadelphia mission. During the last 6 months of my mission I began to notice a change in my behavior and the way I felt. Before I was working hard and enjoyed being a missionary. I felt successful with what I was doing in all of my areas. During January 2014 I was transferred to a new area and the work became very difficult. Over the next few months I began to internalize all the negative aspects of missionary work and it began to affect the way I treated myself and other people around me. That’s when my behavior changed. I started to lose my motivation but didn’t understand what was going on or why I had changed. Everything had happened a little bit at a time. After 6 months in a difficult area I was transferred to a new area but held onto those negative feelings and emotions. In a month my emotional stability simply crashed and I began to deal with feelings of nervousness and hopelessness. It got to the point that I began blacking out just going outside and my mission president became very concerned for my well being. He had me take a few stress quizzes and meet with someone from LDS family services. While I was appreciative of the help I received from the services, I never felt like I was able to get to the root of my problems. I thought that what the counselor said about what caused my problems made sense but I always felt that there was something more to it. I felt that the counseling was needed to help me make it week to week or day to day but in the long run, I knew I needed something else in order to be better independently.
Eventually my mission president gave me the option of returning home six weeks earlier than my release date and I decided to do that in hopes of getting better. I didn’t know what to fully expect on my return home. My family life had changed and I had decided to move in with my Dad. My parents divorced when I was 18 months old and I had always lived with my Mom. I wanted to pursue a relationship with my Dad while resolving my problems. Adjusting to post missionary life can already be difficult on its own when moving back to the home you grew up in surrounded by the same people. But I was in a new environment, with new people I wasn’t familiar with, with no clear direction on how to get better. Normally I think that would cause anyone that was dealing with those emotional problems to crash again but it was exactly what I needed. I had always let my environment and the people around me influence the way I felt and behaved. But because of the new mental skills I’ve learned from hypnotherapy, that’s no longer the case. I’ve learned how to change my way of thinking to allow me to be in control of my emotions and behavior no matter what’s going on.

Hypnosis has been called by many names over the years, such as being mesmerized or mesmerism in the 1700, and hypnosis or being hypnotized in the 1800’s which is still being used today to describe our natural trance abilities. If I had enough influence I would simply call it trance or pondering, and I explain why in this show. Trance or pondering is what it is called in the Bible, as it is described as pondering and meditation. Pondering would be hypnosis and mediation would be hypnotherapy, or thinking deeply in a meditative trance state upon our lives for solutions to our problems and behaviors. It is to be a state of enlightenment and understanding, gaining wisdom in our decisions and actions.

The post The Truth About Hypnosis And Hypnotherapy: Introducing Spiritual Mind Management – The Truth about Hypnosis and what is going on in a stage show. You will learn the 7 observable states of mind and the 5 levels of hypnosis or trance. We explain the “MYSTERY” of hypnosis., and why there are so many elusive descriptions. appeared first on WebTalkRadio.net.
Spiritual Mind Management Hypnotherapy has been developed by W. Dennis Parker. It begins with realizing that we control our brains with our “spirit mind” or “inner Intelligence” rather than just our brains controlling us through a complicated neurological system. We each have this inner Intelligence and can learn to feel it moving freely within our minds. We can learn to recognize where inside our minds this Intelligence is active at any given moment, and we can learn to move this Intelligence intentionally, at our direction.

AndroidRSSBecause our spiritual minds operate our conscious outward observations in a different place from our imagination and store our memories in a different place from our emotions, we think and feel differently as we move our inner Intelligences from place to place. Knowing how to access these various parts of our minds allows us to change our perceptions of past experiences and to correct our imagined versions of past events. We are then able learn how to both detach and then resolve negative emotions and collapse unwanted feelings that literally no longer exist. In fact, we change unwanted behaviors at beyond the speed of light— we do it at the speed of thought.
Our emotions drive our behaviors because we tend to behave the way we feel. Where do these powerful emotions come from? Each of us has as part of our inner spiritual being Intelligence within our spiritual mind that guides our thoughts and directs our brains, then out brain directs our body. It moves from place to place in our spiritual mind. It moves from consciousness which is outward observation, learning, focus and choice, to our subconscious imagination where amplification of any thought, belief, or idea can be enlightened and expanded.
Then to searching our memories to justify with validating data the thoughts and beliefs we have already accepted as truth. When our Intelligence in is consciousness you are not in your subconscious functions of imaginations, memories, or emotions. It is as though they do not exist.
When a thought/ belief/ idea is allowed subconscious access the degree to which we amplify it in our imagination plus the frequency with which we recall data from our memories to justify and validate the accepted belief yields the level of emotional content that we feel and call our emotions. The amount of emotions we feel drives the extent of our behaviors.

Kevin Smullin is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with the ACHE (American Council of Hypnotist Examiners) and was trained at the Certified Hypnotherapy Training School. Prior to his training as a hypnotherapist, his professional background was in personal coaching and training. He has worked as a personal investment coach and trainer for almost 15 years. This is exactly what led him to becoming trained as a hypnotherapist. He noticed as he trained people that there were a certain percentage that never moved forward with the training that they received and he wondered why. He recognized that people were stuck in their own self-limited beliefs that held them back. They felt like they didn’t deserve success, like they weren’t good enough, and that they couldn’t do it. When he learned about hypnotherapy and how it can help people change their behaviors at that deeper subconscious level, he realized he had found the tool that he had been searching for. He now had the ability to help people overcome their negative thoughts, their self-defeating behaviors, and their old habits. Since that time, Kevin has now helped many people as a hypnotherapist and specializes in working with people that want to lose weight, overcome infertility, and control their anxiety. AndroidRSSIn November of 2013, my father sent me a link to a presentation by a man from the Certified Hypnotherapy Training School in Farmington, Utah. I put it off continually believing it would be a waste of my time, I finally gave in the first part of January 2014. After I listened to it, I was intrigued so I looked around on the website and learned that Dennis was currently holding school sessions right here in St George, so I called him up immediately and asked him a few questions, then set up a time to go and attend one of the classes to see what I thought. I was there for one day, and was immediately hooked when I saw him work with a young girl and witnessed the immediate results. I was so amazed by what had taken place and in such a short amount of time, that I knew it was for me.
I love psychology and how it affects the brain however I couldn’t see myself helping people by sitting in an office session after session accomplishing very little. So when I saw Dennis work through an hour and a half session and seeing a noticeable change in the client when he was done, I knew that I was going to become a hypnotherapist.
I got home and went online to research all of the schools across the country to see how they compared to the Certified Hypnotherapy Training school. There was no other school like this one. The professionalism of the school was far beyond any of the others. The amount of training you receive and the availability of instructors to help you out were just a few things that stood out.
I signed up, but I was only able to attend a few classes while Dennis was in St George so I took the books and began reading Spiritual Mind Management in between the classes I was able to attend. As well I listened to White CD’s for weight management and self-esteem. I was not prepared for what happened to me. The book gave me a well thought out and easily understood explanation of the process of Spiritual Mind Management. And the CD’s began drawing out the issues I was ready to deal with. When I was finally able to attend the summer courses, it worked well for me because I was able to attend the courses on line from 400 plus miles away.
I met so many people, made so many friends and witnessed many transformations including my own right there in the classroom. It was hard work and Dennis was a tough instructor making sure that we knew the material, but more importantly were comfortable using it. He stands behind his process and for good reason, it really works!
I finished my training and became certified through ACHE. I immediately started to have clients call and set up appointments. They were hearing that the amount of time it took to work through your issues was very minimal. I had a client who was finally able to confront the pain in her feet and located the reason for it. Another client is a well-respected lawyer who needed help with his lack of focus only to clear issues he didn’t even know had existed. A lady who learned of her adoption was able to see things differently when she was done. Working with the Spiritual Mind Management techniques has allowed my son with autism to see people in a different way than he had before, becoming less offended in social situations and being able to make good friends.
I am a single mom raising 3 teenage boys, one who has autism and an 8 year old daughter. This program allowed me to have more time with my kids as well as help them in their lives. Dennis has continued to be a mentor for me even after my certification was finished which helps with my confidence to continue to do this great work and help people everywhere.
