He looked like an ordinary student, he was quiet, well mannered, and barely out of his teens. But between 1964 and 1966, Karol Kot turned the streets of Kraków into his hunting ground, attacking elderly women and children with chilling precision. His reason? He said causing pain made him feel alive. By the time he was caught, the city knew him only by the name whispered in fear "The Vampire of Kraków."
