In this episode of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the Capitals defeating the Nashville Predators. It was a game that saw goals by Alex Ovechkin, Aliaksei Protas and Beck Malenstyn. Darcy Kuemper had a great game and a shoutout he made 34 saves on 34 shots.

It wasn't all good news as TJ Oshie and John Carlson both left the game with lower body injuries.

In the final segment Dan talk about the play of Aliaksei Protas and how he feels like he hasn't fully played up to his potential.

“I describe myself like, a player who can play everywhere. The coach wants to play me on the wing, I’ll play on the wing, center, center,” Protas said. “If I will need to help the team on the PK, I’ll do that. Like on the power play. Doesn’t matter for me… I’ll do whatever the coaches tell me to do. It doesn’t matter for me where I’ll play. I’ll play anywhere.”
