In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the Capitals defeat of the Montreal Canadiens. The game had a lof of offensive firepower from the Capitals. Alex Ovechkin got a hat trick. Gustafsson, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Marcus Johansson all finished the game with three points, marking just the second time all season the Capitals have had at least three players record three or more points.

Later in the show Dan Talks about Alex Ovechkin. Ovechkin recorded 22 points (13g, 9a) in 15 games, which led the Capitals and ranked tied for second in the NHL. Ovechkin recorded a point in 11 of Washington's 15 games, as the Capitals finished the month with a record of 11-2-2 and the second-most points (24 points) in the League.
