In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the Capitals loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Caps got outworked in the second period after playing a pretty solid first period with Nick Backstrom scoring the only Caps goal on the night. The backchecking and odd man breaks ultimately was the Capitals demise. Darcy Kuemper was under heavy pressure in the second and was pulled in favor of Charlie Lindgren. Darcy saved 16 of 20 and Charlie saved 6 0f 7

Later Dan talks about what moves need to be made before the trade deadline in March. Caps need help on defense and some depth forwards would help solidify this team
