In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the 5-2 defeat of the Winnipeg Jets. This is the Caps fourth straight win. The Caps came off a big win over the Kraken this weekend and Sunday night they take down the first place jets.

Ovechkin is on pace to score 46 goals this season. Should Ovechkin reach the 40-goal mark, it would mark his 13th career 40-goal season, passing Wayne Gretzky (12) for the most in NHL history.

Then later in the show Dan talks about the surging power play of the Capitals

The Capitals have scored a power play goal in six-straight games and in nine of their last 10 games. It marks Washington's longest stretch of consecutive games with at least one power play goal since the 2012-13 season (six-straight games: Feb. 3 – Feb. 4, 2013)..

Then in the last segment Dan talks about the Capitals number two netminder Charlie Lindgren. Since Darcy Kuemper has been out due to injury Charlie Lindgren is undefeated.
