Mary-Beth is a nurse practitioner in private practice in Bellport. Her specialty is in tick-borne and mold illness; and is currently offering preventative care and early treatment for COVID. She also offers intravenous nutrient therapy for non-patients to support energy, detox and hydration, as well as ozone therapy. A graduate of both Stony Brook University with a master’s degree in Advanced Practice Nursing, and Pace University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, Mary-Beth worked as an RN for ten years in oncology. Early on in her career she became Board Certified as a Holistic Nurse through the American Holistic Nurses Association, and this continues to inform her patient care. Mary-Beth has trained with some of the leaders in tick-borne illness; initially working alongside Dr. Richard Horowitz; and is currently being mentored by Dr. Joseph Jemsek, an Infectious Disease doctor in DC. She is an ILADS member and has completed their preceptor program. She has become increasingly interested in the intersect of Functional Medicine, tick-borne and mold illness, collectively termed Environmentally Acquired Illness. Mary-Beth has trained at the Institute for Functional Medicine and completed a year-long Advanced Training in Functional Medicine Clinic Emersion with Dr. Kara Fitzgerald. She is certified as a mold specialist with Dr. Jill Crista, is certified as an ozone specialist through Dr. Frank Shallenberger; and is preparing for certification at the Academy for Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy. Her protocols use a blend of pharmaceutical, herbal, neutraceuticals, IV, and nutrition. Mary-Beth is a 200-hr E-RYT/500-hr Registered Yoga teacher; is certified at the Master’s level in Reiki and is a practitioner of Breema, a system of gentle bodywork that fosters deep relaxation. Mary-Beth was born and raised on Long Island.
