Dori has been working in the field of health and wellness since 1997. She’s a bit of a wellness ‘Jill-of-all-Trades.’ Being of service to people and empowering them on their wellness journey is truly her passion and gives her life purpose. For the past two decades, Dori developed her career as a massage therapist and her knowledge and passion for holistic health blossomed. As a life-long learner, her education went on to include Nutrition Education, Food Psychology Coaching, Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga Therapy and Yomassage.
Dori is also certified as both a Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher and Trauma- Informed Yomassage instructor. In 2008, Dori launched Healing Thru Food to create a safe space that encourages healthy, lasting change. Through this program, Dori is committed to helping you create an eating lifestyle that works for YOU and your personal needs. In 2020, Dori combined her passions of food and wellness with her vast knowledge in body therapy and launched Dori Lancaster: Empowered Wellness. Clients can now create customized programs that encourage a holistic sense of well-being.

Guest: Athena Phillips, LCSW
Athena’s career in behavioral health began in 1995, where she began working with developmentally disabled children and adults. Working with this population prompted her to pursue her Bachelors degree in Social Work, which was completed at Pacific University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was Social Work Student of the Year in 2000. During my internship at the She later completed her Masters in Social Work from Portland State University where she was the recipient of the Laurels Scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Athena is currently enrolled in a doctoral program in pursuit of Doctorate in Psychology.
She has since served in various capacities with an increased specialization in working with trauma. In 2012, she founded Integrative Trauma Treatment Center (ITTC), the foundation of which was to approach work with people from the assumption of capacity, inherent goodness and strength. ITTC offers high quality, integrative and progressive care to survivors of trauma and is housed in Portland, OR.

Alison is a licensed clinical social worker, 500 hour yoga teacher in the Kripalu yoga lineage and Reiki master. She's a part of "My LA Therapy," a prominent group private practice in Los Angeles and currently resides in Ithaca, NY in the heart of the finger lakes. Alison is passionate about working with individuals impacted by anxiety and trauma and incorporating mindfulness-based modalities and self-compassion into the work she does.
