In this week's episode, our host Jonathan Aymin sits down with Stephanie Jordan to discuss how they were able to get occupancy permits as they transitioned their property from a residential to commercial lot, how they determine their advertising budget and which platforms work best for their area, and what things to consider when building a team to help operate the venue.

About Our Guest:

TownHall Texas is owned by Carey and Jana Jordan and managed by Stephanie Jordan, their daughter-in-law.  As a family business, their goal is to make each couple feel like a part of the TownHall family!  They help throughout the entire planning process and aim to make every event as amazing as possible.

Since 2000 when Carey and Jana purchased the 10-acre property on Sleepy Hollow, it has transitioned from homestead to man cave, to music venue, to its current state as one of the best and most convenient rustic wedding and event venues in the Houston area.  The white storage barn next to the groom's cabin is the only original building on the property.  Everything else has been added over the years, including a 2-acre pond.

In February 2014, Stephanie took over managing the business.  Since then, she has started advertising, doing bridal shows, and has created a new brand around the venue. Her team has added more updates to the property to make it functional for all of the weddings and events. Some of these changes include an outdoor bar area, the addition of sidewalks, updated palapa (structure and deck), the bride's cabin, and the open air chapel.
