Ep 141 - Health Heroes! For years I have been personally using and recommending colloidal silver products to others as an anti-microbial and for boosting immune health. I learned how important it was that these types of colloidal silver solutions should only be consumed orally in emergency situations because the silver kills the good and bad bacteria in the gut. That can be a stop gap if things are out of control but long term no way. Episode 139 - Health Heroes! I had asked those of you that had benefited from the information on this podcast or the Chemical Free Body products to send us an email with your story. One story that stuck out was the one from registered nurse, Karen Bonacorso. At age 48 she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She had to keep it a secret for a short time not to upset family while inside she was freaking out. Alone, in a motel by herself,  she woke up in the middle of the night crying and asking “why me?” After that she got busy living and doing everything she could to heal… and she did. Now in her early fifties she says she feels fantastic, has more energy and a better outlook on life than she has since she was a child. Episode 138 - Health Heroes! In this episode, I had my good friend UFC World Champion Hall of Famer Pat Miletich on to talk about the importance of proper nutrition. Episode 137 - Health Heroes! Boy am I excited to share with you this amazing episode with Dr. William Davis as we go deep into the foundation of gut health! Can you imagine a world that was completely pristine and free of man made chemicals? Well that wasn't too long ago for the most part. After World War II the chemical companies needed to stay in business so they started making more chemicals, plastics, pharmaceutical drugs, fertilizers, ect. A German microbiologist Gerhard Rueter spent most of his career trying to understand the gut microbiome.

Lactobacillus reuteri or L. reuteri was named after him. So what's the big deal? This microbiologist noticed that starting in the 60’s this very important microbe in our gut was disappearing and now 96% of us don’t have it. Why has it disappeared you ask? Chemicals have killed it. So what is so cool about this episode is that Dr. Davis has figured out a way for us to get massive amounts of this bacteria and others back into our gut and the results have been outstanding.
