Abigail Manning is an awareness creator on authentic health. She shares her personal story of freeing herself from abuse, and how we may recognize someone that may be suffering from abuse. [17:09] Have healthy boundaries and when you ask people if they are ok, have it be from a place where you are direct and firm. People are more apt to share how they really are when they feel the person on the other end really cares. This will help you know potential triggers ahead of time and recognize if someone is crossing your boundary lines. [34:30] It's important to look at the intent behind someone's behavior. Often times it's not malicious but they just need direction and coaching. [46:10] Focus on what you say about yourself subconsciously, and what you let others say about you, even if they are joking.
