With the introduction of Koleb, we take a trip down memory lane and learn more about Kol and his history with Klaus and Elijah. In flashbacks, we see Elijah oh so elegantly handle his relationship with a young and impressionable Marcel (I’m being facetious, of course he white fangs him). Meanwhile in the present, Marcel begins building his new vampire community, starting with turning Gia and recruiting Elijah. In their socialization, Elijah learns Davina has the stake, and comes face to face with Mikael. Elsewhere, Klaus brings Hayley to the bayou and performs some classic manipulation on the wolves there, then confronts Cassie and pretty quickly figures out her whole deal.
