To stay or go: when is a relationship worth saving?

Listen Later

Love after children can change. There's the love you feel for your children, and there are their needs (that can feel all-consuming). When it comes to your partner, you may find you're acting more like a pair of good friends than as lovers. For some this transition can make sense and doesn't feel permanent. For others it can feel like the death of your relationship. Elisabeth Shaw is a practicing psychologist and the NSW CEO for Relationships Australia. She gives us some tips on how can you tell if you should stay or go, and if you should ever stay for the sake of the kids.
