56 - I am so happy to see you. What seemed so far away

at some point is now here.

I am grateful for this life.

For life

To live

To be alive.

Life - Live - Alive.

Those words carry so much more meaning as we age.

What does it mean to truly live life alive?

To me, it means waking up to the truth of you.

For you, not them.

We get ‘warnings everywhere’

“The days are long but the years are few”

“Just to live does not mean you’re alive’

“Life, it’s a fast ride”

However, we pay no mind.

Somehow we think that this does not apply to us.

We spend so many years, and decades trying tot fit in.

To change who we are based on what we see from others.

To live up to someone else’s expectations.

We get further and further away from our truth.

From our soul and our spirit.

We go through life desperate to avoid pain and heartache.

Like if we don’t rock the boat we can avoid it.

What silly fools we are.

For it is only with the sadness that we can truly experience joy.

It is because of suffering that we learn how resilient we are.

It is in the resistance that we find our strength.

To convince ourself that things are “fine”, that life is “good’ is doing our life a disservice.

You are not here on earth for fine & good.

I am not willing to die with my magic inside of me.

We think that the value in life is what we get.

The things we have, the achievments.

That’s not it.

It’s in the ability to honour our soul.

What lights her up?

What whispers to you in the still of the mornings?

The goosebumps you get when you read something that lands.

When you feel a message was made just for you.

It was.

Live this life, fully alive

Feel the feelings

Take the chances

Follow the nudges

Let go of the how

Tap into the who.

Who you were meant to be,

day after day,

year after year,

decade after decade.

For as long as you are meant to be.
