Weather Report Script for East Los Angeles, California
Good evening, East Los Angeles! Let's dive into some seriously wet weather heading our way.
We've got a Flash Flood Watch in effect, so buckle up for some serious rainfall action. Tonight, expect rain with temperatures dropping to around 51 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be coming from the east at around 10 miles per hour, and we're looking at an 80 percent chance of precipitation. You might see between a tenth and quarter of an inch of rain.
Thursday is going to be a real soaker! Rain is almost guaranteed, with potential thunderstorms rolling in after 4 in the afternoon. Temperatures will climb to about 56 degrees Fahrenheit, with south winds between 5 to 15 miles per hour and gusts up to 20 miles per hour. We're talking serious rain here - possibly 1 to 2 inches throughout the day.
Thursday night continues the wet trend, with rain and possible thunderstorms. Temperatures will hover around 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and those south-southwest winds will keep things interesting.
Friday starts wet but promises to clear up, with mostly sunny skies developing later in the day. Temperatures will reach near 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
The weekend looks more promising - Saturday brings mostly sunny skies and a high near 64 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday will be partly sunny and warming up to near 69 degrees Fahrenheit.
Washington's Birthday looks particularly nice, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to about 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
Next week continues the pleasant trend, with temperatures gradually climbing to a toasty 73 degrees Fahrenheit by Wednesday.
