Good evening, East Los Angeles! I'm your weather anchor bringing you the latest forecast that's about to get a little wet and wild.
We've got a Flood Watch in effect, so keep those umbrellas and rain boots handy. Tonight's looking mostly cloudy with temperatures dipping down to a cool 51 degrees, and a gentle east wind around 5 miles per hour.
Wednesday is shaping up to be a rainy affair. Expect precipitation likely after 11 in the morning, with temperatures climbing to a mild 61 degrees. Winds will be dancing from east southeast to south, potentially gusting up to 15 miles per hour. We're looking at about a tenth to a quarter inch of rainfall.
But wait, there's more! Wednesday night is going to be a real splash. Rain is pretty much guaranteed, with possible thunderstorms after 11 at night. Temperatures will cool down to 49 degrees, and winds will pick up to 10 to 15 miles per hour with gusts reaching 20 miles per hour. Rainfall could be between three-quarters to one full inch.
Thursday brings more excitement with showers and potential thunderstorms. Expect a high near 56 degrees with breezy conditions and winds potentially gusting up to 30 miles per hour.
The weekend looks more promising with Saturday bringing mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to a pleasant 64 degrees. Sunday continues the trend with partly sunny conditions and a high near 68 degrees.
Next week starts with a chance of rain on Monday, keeping things interesting.
