Here's the weather script:
Good evening, weather watchers of East Los Angeles!
We're looking at a bit of a rollercoaster week ahead, so buckle up and let's dive right in.
Tonight, we've got some patchy dense fog rolling through, keeping things mysterious with temperatures dipping down to a chilly 51 degrees Fahrenheit. Those east-northeast winds will be gentle, just around 5 miles per hour.
Monday brings us some morning fog that'll burn off, revealing a mostly sunny day with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 69 degrees Fahrenheit. Those winds will play musical chairs, starting calm and then switching to a west-southwest breeze.
Now here's where things get interesting - Tuesday is shaping up to be our wettest day. We're looking at a 60 percent chance of rain between 10 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. Expect temperatures around 60 degrees Fahrenheit, with the potential for a tenth to a quarter inch of precipitation.
Christmas Day looks like a gift from the weather gods - sunny and 64 degrees Fahrenheit. The rest of the week continues this delightful trend with mostly sunny skies and temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to low 70s.
Oh, and heads up - there's currently an air quality alert in effect, so those with respiratory sensitivities might want to take extra precautions.
