Good morning, East Los Angeles! This is your weather forecast that's hotter than our local street tacos.
Let's dive right in for the next few days. We've got an Air Quality Alert in effect, so if you're sensitive to air conditions, take note.
Tonight, expect some patchy dense fog rolling through. It'll be mostly cloudy with temperatures dropping to a cool 49 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be gentle, coming from the east at around 5 miles per hour.
Moving into Monday, that fog will hang around until about 10 in the morning. Then, we'll see a transition to mostly cloudy skies that'll gradually clear up to sunshine. We're looking at a pleasant high of 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Those breezes will shift from east northeast to west in the afternoon.
The good news? New Year's Day is looking spectacular with plenty of sunshine and temperatures climbing to a wonderful 76 degrees Fahrenheit. The rest of the week follows suit with mostly sunny conditions and temperatures hovering in the low to mid 70s.
Weekend warriors, get excited! Saturday and Sunday are shaping up to be beautiful with sunny skies and temperatures around 70 to 71 degrees Fahrenheit.
