Top Ten from 2023: #3 Making Your Home a Place of Love and Peace With Late Author and International Speaker, Devi Titus
“Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.” -Titus 2:3-5 (NIV)
Devi Titus was wife of Larry Titus and an international Christian conference speaker and author. She was an award winning communicator with the Washington Press Women’s Association and spoke to multiple thousands annually, both nationally and globally. She first came to the attention of women nationwide in 1978 when she founded and edited VIRTUE magazine, a successful Christian alternative to secular women’s magazines. VIRTUE magazine raised a standard of excellence for women’s lives for 22 years. She was an author and founder of The Mentoring Mansion (eventually called the TITUS HOME). Married for over 58 years, Larry and Devi had two children, six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She and her husband resided in the Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area and traveled extensively worldwide.
