In 2013 An Indiana man named Michael Barnett and his wife Kristine Barnett were accused of abandoning their adopted daughter in an apartment alone before “fleeing” to Canada. But now they are speaking out against the allegations and claiming that their “daughter” is not only a “sociopath” but also a “con artist”. Michael and Kristine took to media outlets to declare their innocence, saying they thought they were adopting a  6-year-old girl, named Natalia from Ukraine back in 2010. But what they ended up with was a 22 year old woman who was bent on harming the Barnetts and their three children.

Few criminals have reaped as much goodwill – in life and death – as Cassidy. According to Richard Patterson, author of Butch Cassidy: A Biography

Butch Cassidy, born Robert LeRoy Parker, was an American outlaw and leader of the Wild Bunch, a collection of bank and train robbers who ranged through the western United States in the 1880s and ’90s.

Intro Lyrics:

Butch Cassidy, the audacity.

its not him hes not robbing trains

he’s in control got ahold of the reigns

He’s gunslinging Robin Hood

Only does his Robbin for good.

Takes what he needs and spends it all

Blind to the fact its all his fault

Hot on his trail it wont be long

But he still dont know what he did wrong

Butch Cassidy, the audacity.

The Lin family murders occurred in the northwestern suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on July 18th 2009. This one has a conclusion, someone was convicted of this crime and many believe without sufficient evidence. Interestingly enough I believe it had the longest trial for a single conviction case, in Australian history.

This week we cover an American folk figure known as "The Colorado Cannibal". His name is often misspelled as "Alferd," an error that stems from his own illiteracy. ..Or it could be, when a dyslexic tattoo artist misspelled his name as "ALFERD" and it became sort of an in-joke…either way this dude lived a crazy life and may have ate his fair share of fellas.... 0_0

After Good Friday, April 12th, 1974 the Felger family had experienced more than their fair share of tragedy. Starting in 1970,  when Mrs. Felger, a wife and mother of two teenage daughters, was driving to work in Indiana. Upon her return home, Mrs. Felger lost control of her car and crashed. She was dead on impact. Mr. Felger, after receiving a call from police would make the drive to identify his wife’s body. Four years later, he would make that drive again to identify the body of his murdered daughter, Cheryl Felger.

Also in the second half of this podcast we'll cover the shocking "mother turned murderer" case of Debra Jeter!
