We are just now learning dozens of passengers left the virus stricken cruise ship and returned to their home countries two weeks after the first death from the deadly Hantavirus. We know passengers traveled back to at least 12 different countries, including the U.S. and now authorities are scrambling to trace those passengers movements and monitor their health. All this, as the cruise ship is heading towards the Canary Islands where the remaining quarantined passengers hope to be medically cleared to head back home.

Nearly 7 years after Jeffrey Epstein’s death, a federal judge has just released a purported suicide note written by Epstein. The New York Times filed a request for the note after hearing Epstein’s former cellmate describe its existence and reading veiled references to it in the DOJ’s released Epstein files. The DOJ claimed it didn’t even know the note existed until now.

53-year-old special forces sergeant Craig Berry is on the run in Tennessee and considered armed and dangerous. Berry is accused of beating, strangling and shooting his wife last week before taking off into a vastly wooded area armed with extra ammunition. Berry’s wife survived and now authorities are warning the community to lock their doors and stay vigilant as Berry is trained to survive in difficult terrain, but may grow desperate to avoid capture.

The stranded, virus stricken cruise ship has just been told it cannot dock in the Canary Islands, after Spain’s health ministry said it would accept its passengers and crew. The Canary Islands said there is not sufficient information to guarantee public safety after 3 people died and at least 4 others were sickened from a rare strain of the Hantavirus that can spread from human to human. We go over the latest developments, including 3 people who were just airlifted off the ship, as well as infectious disease doctors who are headed to the vessel to assess this growing medical nightmare with global implications.

FBI Director Kash Patel is accusing the Pima County Sheriff’s Department of mishandling the Nancy Guthrie investigation. Patel maintains the FBI was shut out of the first four days of the investigation despite the fact it sent hundreds of agents to the area, and offered to analyze DNA evidence at their labs in Quantico. Sheriff Chris Nanos disputed Patel’s claims in a statement, saying his department began working with the FBI without delay.

A controversial meme, reposted by Republican Senator Mike Lee, shows a picture of O.J. Simpson labeled “Elizabeth Warren” and O.J.’s former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson labeled “Spirit Airlines.” Lee added the caption “nailed it” in his since deleted post which has drawn significant backlash. Meantime, a crowdsourcing site says they’ve raised $130 million dollars so far, hoping to buy and build back the low cost carrier.

A shocking settlement was announced just hours before Blake Lively wowed the Met Gala crowd in New York City last night. Lively and Justin Baldoni released a joint statement announcing a settlement between the two “It Ends With Us” co-stars, averting a highly anticipated trial set to begin in two weeks. The joint statement said the actors hope the settlement brings closure and allows all parties to “move forward constructively and in peace.”
