I remember when I was a grad student in Dr. Bryan Dik’s Vocational Assessment class back in 2005. At that time, he was a newly hired professor, and I still had little to no idea of what I wanted to do with my career. I’m so fortunate to circle back with Bryan today for a wide-ranging conversation about vocational assessment, his research on calling, and taking his assessment knowledge to the corporate level. Here are a few things we cover:

  • His five-session model for vocational assessment & feedback
  • What is “calling” in your work?
  • How do we integrate neuropsych testing with vocational assessment?
  • His journey of coming up with an idea, finding investors, and scaling vocational assessment to a national business
