2/2/25:
“I am grateful to have been loved and to be loved now and to be able to love, because that liberates.” – Maya Angelou
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” – Leo Buscaglia
*A headstrong & heartfelt message of empowerment to all US DEIB/JEDI practitioners/professionals, or any oppressed group/population + allies that resonate: Keep the education going & growing. You are needed now just as much (perhaps more) than ever given the current climate. Throughout history, there have always been attempts to shut down and silence those who fight for a more peaceful world for all beings. With all due respect to the political system -- the movement for diversity, equity, justice, inclusion, belonging is never gone... as always, it will adapt/adjust. You (U; all of us) got this. :)

On a lighter note: Gratitude is timelessly good/great (celebrate milestones/blessings; achieve success genuinely). On an honest note: The other timeless reality we are constantly reminded of is that there [still] are [and there will always be] bad things happening to good people/places/spaces who deserve better, requiring us all to tap into emotional intelligence + individual/collective resilience (love, life & leadership skills). It's essential to acknowledge and have compassion for how the world inevitably turns.... this also makes it incredibly essential to build a life that is an authentic reflection of you -- that cultivates growth, joy, depth, meaning, and allows us to liberate ourselves and/or those who need support. ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊
Love in all its forms, for all beings, includes but is not limited to:
- How love, empathy, and emotional intelligence create better relationships with self and others
- How love-driven leadership can foster genuine inclusion and equity for all beings
- How radical self-acceptance + self-care influence overall well-being
- The role of love in leadership and social change for historically/systemically oppressed communities
- Exploring the energetic, vibrational and spiritual aspects of love and connection
- How different types of love impact well-being and why all types of love are essential for holistic health
- Healing from heartbreak – familial, romantic, platonic, or professional 'breakups' and leaving unhealthy dynamics
- How love and passion ('heart work') intersect with personal/professional growth
- The power we all have to cultivate and protect holistically healthy spaces for ourselves and the world/universe around us
- Anything else you or your loved ones would add to this list
