We appreciate you being here with us in

these studies through the book of Romans.

On the Unchanging Word Bible study,

we now turn the corner in the study

of Romans to concentrate on God's

work with Israel, God's people. 

The book of Romans, dealing with

the revelation of the gospel of the grace of God

and with the righteousness of God,

the question is now posed,

"How Is God gracious and righteous in dealing

with Israel and the Jewish nation?" 

In Romans chapters 9-10, we will be looking at

how God has been, now is and will yet deal

with the nation of Israel in righteousness and in grace.

To begin, Dr. Mitchell will be giving us a short overview

of the these three chapters,  before getting into chapter 9

and the Apostle Paul's earnest desire for

he salvation of his Jewish people.

So turn with us in your Bible to Romans 9

to begin here with our teacher Dr. Mitchell.

On the Unchanging Word today, Romans 8:31-39

will be our focus. Thank you for studying along with us!

In this lesson, we will be considering the written word

that says, "Who is the one that condemns? " in verse 34.

There are four things in this verse that Christ has done for us.

Dr. Mitchell will take each one and expound

on the benefits of the work of Christ on our behalf. 

We then go on to the fourth question in verse 35.

"Who shall separate us from the love of God in Christ?" 

There are 10 things listed that cannot separate us from the love

of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There is nothing that has been created which

will ever be able to separate us from God's love. 

Does this not call us to dedicate ourselves to the God through our Lord Jesus?

Open your Bible to Romans 8:33 with Dr. Mitchell.  

On the  Unchanging Word Bible study,

we are looking into Romans 8:31-33.

Continuing on with God's purpose, God's

blueprint for the believer, we now turn to 

several questions that the Apostle Paul

asks and then with words of great assurance,

he provides the Christian answer . 

In his lesson, Dr. Mitchell elaborates on the astounding

statement in verse 32 that God spared not His own Son,

His only begotten Son, the Son who was beloved

and chosen and with whom the Father was well pleased. 

Can you and I even begin to fathom the depth of the love God

had for His Son, and then for you and me that He delivered up Jesus for us all?

If God gave Him, who is the very most precious,

how will He not with Him also give us all the things

we need for living for His glory here and now?

On the Unchanging Word Bible study,

we are looking at Romans 8:29-30.

Thank you once again for studying along with us here.

These verses, Romans 8:29-30, are what Dr. Mitchell

calls God's blueprint for the Christian.

These are what God has planned for us.

These verses contain the words

foreknow, predestinate, conformed, called, justified, and glorified.

Dr. Mitchell explains the meaning of these

words one by one. He points out that each

of these words applies and is directed

to believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

He is the one to whom each believer will be

conformed when Christ returns for His own. 

Being conformed to the image of God's son

has already begun while here on earth as

we behold the image of His Son in the

Unchanging Word of God, the Bible.

 Well turn with us in your Bible to

Romans 8:29 here with Dr. Mitchell.

In the Unchanging Word Radio Bible study,

we are looking at Romans 8:27-28. These

are well know verses to many Christians.

In verses 26-2, The Holy Spirit is mentioned three times.

And in verse 27, Dr. Mitchell

brings out the fact that Jesus is the one

who searches the hearts to know what the

mind of the Spirit is. Jesus searches  our 

hearts in order to pray for us according to

the will of God and not to condemn us.

Now in verse 28, probably one of the best

known verses in Romans, we find that God

works all things together for good to them

that love God. Its that Jesus our Lord is

interceding for us according to the will of God.

And add to that the fact that the Holy Spirit

is also interceding for us as well,

we know that God works all things together

for good to them that love Him.
