This message still hits and is a reminder to forgive yourself for mistakes you made when you were young, broken, and just didn't know any better. Give yourself permission to grow and change no matter how many times you've "messed up".  However friend, I do have to hold you accountable by reminding you that you still have to address and acknowledge any wrong that you've caused to others along the way of your healing journey. Now, y'all missed part 1 if you didn't pull up on me in person in August for my first EVER live event. Hey friends, are yall good? This episode one that comes with some heaviness. As I've been scrolling through my timelines I've been seeing a lot of "Rest in Peace" post and I just want to make sure that yall are good and monitoring you mental health. I also want to make sure that you all are giving yourselves time to grieve in private and fully. I know that this is not easy, as I have also lost two people who I care about back to back and have found myself in a state of reflection and intention.  With that, I would like to dedicate this episode to a former student of mine, Zariyah and a childhood friend and cousin, Lil Kenny. I love you both and continue to rest peacefully.

Friends, we just got a new message called CDC (and this has NOTHING to do with covid, okay.) Toya is letting you into her world and mind as she introduces you to a recent and consistent prayer she's had. "God, please grant me three things":

1. Clarity on who I am and who everyone around me is.
2. Direction on how to handle them, or how to work on me, and
3. Courage to see those plans through, even if they seem daunting. 

Now, I don't know about you, but having this prayer come into fruition has opened my eyes up to A LOT. Its helping my to know and see the value (or lack there of) in all of the relationships in my life, and its allowed me to sit back and really learn about every person I entertain, and learn more about myself. And honnney, not everything I've been seeing is pleasant. But, I'm ready to do the work to grow.  Are you?

Hello Friendsssss! In this episode Toya talks about all of the different avenues and mindsets that come with the concept of "Self-Improvement." And often times we get tricked into believing that because the term has the word self in it that its something that we have to do alone. No baby, self improvement is not an independent act. Just like kids need a village, so do we at this big ole age! The only difference is that we get to pick our villages and we MUST be intentional about who we let in.  And yall already know I am a HUGE advocate for all these self awarness and accountability, so those two are also important to consider on this self improvement journey. Yall ready for that, or nah?!

In this episode, Toya answers the question for you and says, YES! You should absolutely proceed with your goals, visions, dreams, and growth journey. The reason that we don't go forth with these things is probably because we are in our own way... so MOVE! How do we move you ask? Its simple. Open your heart and mind to receive HELP, embrace the unknown and be able to name what you don't know with CONFIDENCE!  Commit yourself to ever step of the process, and not just the end goal. Also realizing why you should stop "waiting until you're ready" because truth is, you never will be! Just prepare your mind for how you'll pivot when things don't go as planned. You deserve everything you dream about, so "Shall We Proceed? ...... YES INDEED" (shoutout to Baby Boy for that one) Lets stop ask "When" and start working towards the "Win" instead.

This episode is coming in HOT! Only because I just experienced how much getting close to people who have the energy you need helps to boost your own. In this episode, I am here to let you know that when you want more for yourself, when you see or know what you're striving to become but you may not know HOW to get there, you should get in proximity to people who have it! I also want you all to make sure that you are allowing people who may want to learn from you to get close to you as well. (Just don't for get your boundaries cause people be leeches out here!) The word Proximity means "nearness in space, time, or relationship. So with that being understood be very conscious of the people you're around, time you spend on things, and the relationships you entertain.  Keep growing, friend!
