If you have some kind of wild idea in your head that you want to do, Chris Heinz is proof it's possible. Chris set a goal to run for 24 hours straight, which he is going to set out for on October 8, 2022.
Though we've only met in person once, Chris is someone who has had a dramatic impact on my life. He coached me through my first half marathon, and in doing so, expanded my belief in myself in significant ways.
He's absolutely dripping with inspiration, and I know you're going to love this conversation.
Here are some takeaways from this episode:
- Look at everything through the lens of possibility, not impossibility.
- Try something new, and expand yourself just a little bit.
- Are the people in your life serving you, or hurting you? Are you serving them, or hurting them?
- You don't know what a crazy idea is until you put it out there
- Anything can be accomplished in 63 days.
- It's your journey, you get to make the rules.
- Finally – Running can be fun.
Take Chris' big crazy idea challenge:
- Write your goal down - journal about it.
- Share it with just one person. Ask them, "Is this crazy?" (If they say no, Chris says it probably wasn't big enough.)
- Set an action plan to accomplish it in 63 days.
