In this solo episode, I share information about the difference between your conscious mind and your subconscious mind . Both minds work very differently and it's important to understand their functions when it comes to manifesting your dream life.

The conscious mind only rules about 5% of our life, but it's what makes us "us." It's our identity, our thoughts, and creativity. 

The subconscious mind rules about 95% of our life and is created from subconscious "programs" we developed during the last trimester of our mothers pregnancy through age 7. The subconscious mind is like a mega computer, storing habits and "facts" (even when they're not actual facts).

By noticing what you struggle with most in life, you'll be able to see where your unhelpful programs reside.  Do you struggle with relationships? Money ?

Whatever comes easy to you means that you have programs that support it.  Whatever is a struggle means you have programs that don't support it.

From ages 0 to 7 we are in Theta, which is a state below consciousness.  During that time, our programs are created.  As adults, we can tap into Theta to begin reprogramming (during hypnosis, using our imagination, right before we fall asleep, and right upon waking).

I discuss various ways to begin reprogramming your subconscious mind as, until your conscious mind and subconscious mind "agree" on something, you'll never be able to rise above what your subconscious mind deems "factual."

During this beautiful conversation with Cassie Mather Reid, she shares her journey from leaving the Corporate IT world to becoming a powerful healer.  I love how she listened to her heart when she knew things didn't feel right.  We have a lot of similarities, so I really loved and understood her message.

In this episode, my guest Lydia Hwang (owner of Aspira), shares her beautiful story about how she created soul sound and color offerings to her clients.  By receiving your date of birth, she then taps into your energy field and is able to read your soul sound and colors.  I had this done and it was remarkably spot on! I also love to listen to my soul sound when I'm feeling a bit lost or down.

In addition to that, I did visit Lydia's spa and received the most amazing sound bath and sound healing experience ever! I've been experiencing painful carpal tunnel, but once I left her office, the pain was decreased.  She shares that her mentor told her the most important part of healing is in the relaxation, which allows our nervous system to essentially reset.

Lydia doesn't just stop at sound and color, she also went to UC Berkeley for their Herbology program and creates flower essences (aka plant spirit medicine) for people in need of support.  I've used these, my daughter has used these, and my mother has...all with remarkable healing.

My daughter and I wear matching tear drop necklaces with flower essences in them and my mother wears Lyda's hand-crafted Mala necklace.  I highly recommend these for any type of energetic leaks, anxiety, or worry.  Lydia takes time to listen to her clients' needs and then channels the information from her guides.

Emily Leahy was my very first spiritual teacher, so it's an honor to have her as a guest on my show! 

As many of you know, in 2015 I experienced a near death experience due to toxic mold, which left me and my children broke, homeless, and extremely sick. During that time, a friend brought me to one of Emily’s meditation events in the San Francisco Bay Area and it was absolutely amazing; I can still remember it as if it were yesterday.  It was the first time I went really deep in a guided meditations, I had an out of body experience, and even received some valuable information from my higher self. 

After that, I began meeting Emily in San Francisco for healing sessions, which helped not only my physical body, but I could feel my spiritual body getting stronger and more expansive, as well.  I felt like new worlds and portals were opening up to me.   I began training with Emily and she initiated me into an internationally known mystical school. 

Emily now focuses on educating and supporting entrepreneurs, coaches, founders, and investors with energy management and how to sustain growth in start-ups. 

We talk about the hidden signs of burnout, imposter syndrome, capacity, and other possible problems people are facing as entrepreneurs and founders in the wellness and tech industries.  We’ll also talk about the tools that have helped her step into her purpose. 

The biggest takeaway for entrepreneurs should be: often what's standing in your way is something that YOU cannot see.  That's why Emily and I love to work with clients on finding and breaking subconscious blocks.

In this episode, I have an insightful chat with Nichola Johnson, who was the woman that inspired me to create this podcast.  I've been in her weekly women's circle (aka sangha) for the last 8 months and have had the pleasure of working with her 1:1, as well.  If you're interested in joining us, you can review the information here and join us every Saturday at 8 a.m. PST.

We talk about how mothers can embody a very simple practice that I teach called Mindfulness Micro-Practices (aka Mental Fitness).  It involves short, focused meditations for about 10 seconds up to 2 minutes, which can be done anywhere.  If you can do this throughout the day...perhaps 5 times total, this is enough.  If you can't make it for 30 to 60 minutes on the yoga mat, that's okay.  Being a mother is a spiritual journey in and of itself. 

Nichola has dedicated her life to healing and holistic living, and splits her time between the US and India. Passionate about Integrative health, she is an Ayurvedic Counselor with advanced studies in plant medicine, essential oils and an extensive knowledge on the Art of Self Care. As a partner in a US based Ayurvedic Spa, Nichola is inspired daily by the many diverse modalities for healing.

Weaving physical vitality with spiritual atunement, Nichola uses her MA in Theological Studies and her avocation as an interfaith minister to guide individuals, couples and families towards spiritual wholeness and vibrant health.

From wherever she finds herself, Nichola co- leads a weekly women’s sangha called ‘The Fragrance of Joy’. Community, spiritual adventure and self expression are the cornerstones of her teachings.

In this episode I dive into sales and marketing with Tracy Beavers. Tracy has over 20 years experience in sale and marketing in various industries and capacities.  She provides amazing insight and advice for entrepreneurs who are starting out and hoping to be seen online, but aren't wanting to pay for ads.

We also chat about how scary it is being an employee with your future always in the employer's hands.  They decide how much you're worth, they determine your hours, then they can mess around with your compensation if they feel like you're making too much money.   The newer, smarter societal norm seems to be the path of the entrepreneur.

While being an entrepreneur is risky, it definitely has its perks.  Navigating sales and marketing is definitely one of the hardest parts when starting out, so I highly recommend joining Tracy's Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1029969944188688

She teaches live classes weekly (Thursdays' at 11:30 a.m. CST), so make sure to join the group and catch a future class. All of the replays are available for you, as well.

We also chat about how difficult it can be as a mother entrepreneur and Tracy has some great tips, including: get your schedule in order first and have "theme" days. For example: I only record podcasts on Thursday's and Friday's between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. PST.  That helps me get into the groove each week and my energy is aligned with it.

Finally, we talk about how strangers seem to be hitting us up in the DM for sales more than ever and how that's just not the way to do it! As Tracy says: if you were at a party, would you just come up to someone and say "Hello" and immediately launch into your sales pitch? No, you'd have a conversation, get to know the person, and it might come up naturally.  People can feel your energy when you're trying to push a sale...don't do it.

In this episode with Nikole Mitchell, she shares with us a personal story of how she went from food stamps to six figure months by following her passion and allowing herself to become untamed.

She was quickly dubbed in the media as the "pastor-turned-stripper" when she left the church to become a full-time life coach, as well as an online stripper via OnlyFans.  We talk about how sometimes the tabloid version of ourselves gets us in the door, when it comes to the media, and then we're able to show how truly deep and passionate we are while helping others.  And let me tell you: Nikole is deep! She's way more than the tabloid version of herself.

I absolutely love Nikole's energy, confidence, and the passion she has for helping other women follow their hearts, pursue their dreams, and get rich as shit!

I met Nikole in the Super Connector Media world and I was instantly drawn to her charismatic and heart-centered personality.  I watched as she shared expert advice whole-heartedly with other women and encouraged me, as well, to pursue my dreams.

As a mother, I always felt guilty when I invested in myself.  I felt like I should be putting it toward the children or bills, but Nikole reminded me that I'm so much more than a mother and, by investing in myself, I'm going to be able to provide my family with a much better life.
