Laura is an entrepreneur and mentor at heart. She sees and values each person’s uniqueness and believe that uniqueness leads to life purpose and fulfillment and contributes to the overall success of a team or organization. There are two things that inspire her: 1) Helping people learn new ways of being and doing; and 2) Creating innovative educational and organizational environments. When she encounters an outdated “system” or “process” that no longer serves a purpose, she rises to the challenge (beautifully!) of creating a new one that will provide abundant opportunities for generations to come.
Laura is Founder and President of Bloom360 Learning Community, a non-profit private school serving children and young adults with neuro-diverse needs. Laura has engaged in multiple training opportunities provided by the VIA Institute of Character in the areas of using character strengths at work, building effective teams and one-on-one strength based coaching. She also has completed the advanced practice course, “Character Strengths Interventions.” Laura earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin. She enjoys speaking and contributing at industry conferences and roundtables. Laura is Past President of St. Francis Children’s Center, a non-profit organization serving children with special needs. She is a member of National Society of Compliance Professionals and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
