The ghosts are here to stay! Jonny and Aileen talk about the spooky Argentinian film, La Funeraria. Bernardo is an undertaker that runs his mortuary business in the same house where he resides. His VERY dysfunctional family lives among coffins, wreaths and mischievous supernatural entities that visit on a daily basis. But there's something darker and more evil on the way.  Plus, our hosts learn more about what a funeral director does and the signs your home is haunted!

Jonny and Aileen head to Peru with the movie El Demonio de los Andes to discover the unsettling story of the South American equivalent of the werewolf.  The Jarjacha is an entity/curse brought on by the biggest (and grossest) sin of all: incest. Kiss your sister or your brother and be cursed to live as a were-llama! Plus our hosts talk about the effects of the Sendero Luminoso (Shining Path) and the Peruvian town of Ayacucho, where the movie takes place.

Bueno, it happened.  Jonny & Aileen found the hardest movie to watch for the podcast. *TRIGGER WARNING*
Lucio A. Rojas' Chilean horror film, Trauma, is definitely filled with exactly that: TRAUMA! Four friends head to an isolated country house in the backwoods of Chile and are brutally attacked by a man and his son.  This was a really tough watch for Jonny & Aileen, with equally tough discussions about Pinochet's regime, torture, sexual assault and how today's Chilean women are fighting for change.

This week Jonny & Aileen are transported to Mexico in the 80s where curly mullets, power unibrows and dino pajamas totally rule.  Don't Panic , Ruben Galindo Jr.'s tribute to Nightmare on Elm Street, tells of 17 year old Michael who unlocks a murderous evil force from an Ouija board. This one is fun romp you must watch!

Jonny & Aileen head to a zombie infested Venezuela with this week's movie, Infección.  But this movie goes a lot deeper than sprinting zombies, desolate apocalyptic roads, and all or nothing survival (which it has plenty of!)  Using the tropes of zombie films, director Flavio Pedota's Infección highlights the Venezuelan Humanitarian Crisis and the Venezuelan Refugee Crisis.

Jonny and Aileen get deep into the moors of Colombia with this week's film.  A military group on a rescue mission encounter a mysterious woman.  Will their minds play games with them or is the mysterious woman more than she seems? Like the movies Alien, The Thing, Blair Witch Project with a splash of Full Metal Jacket, this movie left our hosts feeling TENSE.

Welcome back to Argentina! Jonny & Aileen watch and discuss Sudor Frío. Three friends are held hostage in a house of horrors which includes such terrifying things as conservative old men catfishing young girls on the internet, feral women trapped in a pitch black basement and the worst of all tortures: MATH FORMULAS! Will our hosts get out alive?
