Welcome to the 5th Workshop and Guided Meditation on Dealing With Grief & Loss.  If you have experienced a loss of a loved one then you may be experiencing grief. 

Grief is the emotional suffering you feel when something or someone you love has been taken away from you. Often, the pain of loss can feel overwhelming and you may experience all kinds of difficult and unexpected emotions which include shock or anger to disbelief, guilt, and profound sadness. 

The grieving process takes time and healing happens gradually; it can’t be forced or hurried and whatever your grief experience, it’s important to be patient with yourself and to allow the process to naturally unfold.

This guided meditation will help you during your healing process as it will help you to focus on the positives and for you to celebrate the time that you had with your loved one. It is a blissful meditation which you will benefit from gracefully to help in making the painful circumstances more manageable.

If you are able to start by just focussing on the breath, I recommend starting with that as it creates a sense of calm in the body and can enable us to see our own power for healing within ourselves.

Anu Verma interviews Mumbai-based author Dr Priya Saklani. As a survivor of two decades of childhood complex trauma and sexual abuse, and after healing herself from the effects of childhood abuse, Priya is committed to helping anyone suffering from childhood trauma and to help them overcome the core beliefs that are blocking their road to recovery. 

A firm believer that the only way forward is by addressing the past and to attempt to heal oneself, Dr Priya feels that otherwise the trauma subconsciously begins to affect the person, making it difficult to lead a “normal” life. “I had only one friend – fear.” Abandoned by her mother, she suffered from abuse by those closest to her. 

She now wishes to dispel the stigma associated with discussions about sexual abuse, which still remains a taboo topic in many cultures. 

Born an empath and a clairsentient, Dr Priya holds a doctorate degree in holistic and spiritual healing and is also a pioneer of ‘Animal Reiki’ in India. She has dedicated her life to assisting the wounded adult children of dysfunctional families and victims of abuse, by helping them to overcome flawed childhood programming and co-dependency and breaking the negative patterns of the past and reclaiming their life. Her speciality is ‘Inner child healing’ and she is passionate about ‘Conscious Parenting’.

It is her mission to inspire and empower others to reveal their authentic self and live a life of their highest potential. She bridges the gap between trauma and purpose.

Angeline Constantinou is a Founder/Coach/Podcaster of her Podcast 'Let's Break the Silence' -  a platform for Domestic Abuse Survivors to find their voice and regain their power after Domestic Abuse.

So she invested in a millionaire mentorship group and it put her on a new path! She was growing slowly but learned that the hardest thing about growth is letting go of limiting beliefs.

Hello listeners and welcome back to the victim to victor podcast, my name is Anu and I am your host. In this podcast episode I have Maya Joshi on my show.

Maya has an extraordinary story of victory. Born and raised in Leicester, England, her mother left her and her 3 sisters at a very young age for another man and her father was left to raise them.

Maya struggled from rejection which led to further turmoil of being labelled and she speaks up about what life has been like being raised in a broken family in the Indian community.

She opens up about the caste system and how this creates separation and also how being disabled or suffering from mental health issues is not spoken openly about and are still taboo topics within the Asian Community.

This episode hits home on the common issues that arise culturally due to the inability to communicate and to open up about topics which are classed as shameful and so ignored to avoid hindrance on reputation within the community.

So what needs to change? Acceptance. Acceptance of mental health issues and disability and more acknowledgement of the truth and to lead with the heart rather than with the head. Only we ourselves can be the change.

Hello listeners and welcome back to the Victim 2 Victor podcast and in todays episode I have Tiffany Barnes on my show.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Tiffany was emancipated at the age of just 15 – the second case in the state of Utah for a child of age 15 to become legally emancipated from their parents.

She then struggled with ongoing abuse which traumatised her in her later years. It took just one decision for her to turn her life around. She worked 3 jobs to support herself and her education to lead her to where she is today, a successful and ambitious entrepreneur.

Tiffany recounts her stories and experiences to help victims of abuse. She has also founded S.H.A.R.E; an advocacy group for students and run by students who have experienced abuse.

She is in the process of releasing her first book and autobiography, ‘The Throw Away Girl’, which is expected to release soon.

Her motto is “It’s the START that STOPS you” – a line that sums up ‘Speak Loud’ and Tiffany’s mission to help victims of abuse.
