On this 🎙The Real Forno Show 🏈 - the Minnesota Vikings found a way to believe on Saturday with a historic 39-36 win over the Indianapolis Colts. The game was a tale of two halves. They were abysmal in the first half, and nothing was going well for them. The score was 33-0 at halftime and the Vikings flipped the script by forcing overtime and won 39-36.

In tonight’s episode, we will be breaking down each half individually because they were essentially different games. But luckily only counted as a single win moving the Vikings to 11-3 on the season.

On this episode of Climbing The Pocket’s “The Final Score”, we react with you! Your Minnesota Vikings had the opportunity to clinch the NFC North today. All they had to do was defeat the 4-8-1 Indianapolis Colts. The team with the worst offense in the league. After the first half of the game where the Vikings have trailed 33-0, it won’t even be close to those results. Why so far have the Vikings not shown up? …And they finally did winning 39-36 in overtime. What defensive adjustments are we seeing that were promised? Not sure, but in the second half and overtime, they held the Colts to only 3 points. After the first half, the defense is well on its way to giving up over 400 yards again for the sixth game in a row. But they didn’t. They held the Colts to only 341 yards in 5 quarters. Should Ed Donatell be fired? Well, somebody needs to be the scapegoat. Not this week. Our super fan, Mary Fisk, asks, “could this be the worst game in Vikings history?” I guess we have another half of football to sit through to find out. We did with the greatest comeback in NFL history. Wow!

The team has at least scored in the third quarter. Can they score enough? Absolutely! They made history and won the NFC North Division crown in the process. SKOL VIKINGS!

On this 🎙The Real Forno Show 🏈 - The Minnesota Vikings finally had their streak of luck run short as they squander two banner offensive performances from both Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson in a 34-23 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon.

It wasn't quite a blowout, but the Vikings never felt in control of the game and they had chances to do so. The Lions didn't put the Vikings away until the very end with a field goal by Michael Badgley.

There is a lot to talk about with this game, including:

-Why the nerds were right about this team being fraudulent

-Why the Vikings can still buck the trend and continue their success

-Do we need to hit the panic button on defense?

-How should we view the draft class

We will start off the show with Nate Atkins, who covers the Indianapolis Colts for the Indianapolis Star. The Colts have lost in embarrassing fashion and beaten the Kansas City Chiefs en route to their 4-8-1 record this season. On today’s episode of Two Old Bloggers🎙 - your 10-2 Minnesota Vikings travel to the Motor City to play the Detroit Lions. The Lions are favored by Las Vegas and the odds makers by two points. That seems odd when you have a team that has only lost two games all season playing one that is under .500. How can the Vikings be the underdog?

Before we get into the game on Sunday, we’re going to look at whether Jalen Reagor should be taking more snaps with the offense. KJ Osborn has played hundreds of more snaps this season, but Jalen in his relatively small sample size is producing better. He has the pedigree being a first round draft choice with blazing speed, but why isn’t he getting more involved in the offense?

Then Dave will take a deep dive into concussions. Christian Darrisaw and Akayleb Evans have both suffered multiple concussions this season. They both have been in and out of the protocol. Christian Darrisaw may play on Sunday, even though that is questionable. Evans was put on IR so that he can recover from his latest. Is there a way to better protect the players from getting them again, or in the first place?

Then Darren and Dave will preview the game against the Detroit Lions. Yes, their offense has been good, but their defense ranks dead last. Yes, they have won the last four out of five games, but what were the quality of the teams they played? We know that Amon-Ra St. Brown and the offensive line of theirs is top notch in the league, but is that enough to cause Vegas to favor them over your Minnesota Vikings? This, and more on today’s 20B.
