Following the recent story in The Australian about an incident involving myself and Chris Nield, a groom from the upcoming 2026 season, a lot of you have been asking me what exactly happened. I've been waiting to respond publicly for many reasons that I explain in this podcast, including holding out to see if Channel Nine would actually respond to me or take any action. 

When it became clear to they'd stopped all communication via email and would not be providing a statement, I then approached the biggest boss of MAFS, Tara McWilliams, in real life, to ask her directly why this program is once again platforming a made who has shown has a violent side.
