Today’s dose of "Vitamin D" is dedicated to perseverance. Going after your dreams isn’t easy, but it's certainly possible. See it takes a special kind of person to go after their dream. Why do you think they call it a dream? If our dreams were easy to reach... they wouldn’t have the same sweetness in the moment of accomplishment. And so there are often obstacles on the path to becoming your best self. But when you trip up on the path... the question then becomes, "Are you going to get up?"
See, you must remember that your dreams won’t work unless you do and no one is going to what your dreams as bad as you. Just like Frank Ocean’s single, “Provider,” there will come a point where you will realize that you’re “the only one out on the night loops” grinding for what you know is yours. And no matter what, you have to show up for yourself again and again and again. Now, It’s fine to take rest, to catch your breath. Because there’s no race to the top. No one else is on your path and honestly, you’ll most likely do yourself a disservice trying to force something when you aren't ready. period. Providing for yourself, others, or your dream, isn’t a one-and-done thing and it’s certainly not a one-size-fits-all. And yes, it will take time, time for you to develop your mastery and soon you’ll be able to show the world! And when someone says “show me the wisdom in your movement” they’ll see the fruit of your perseverance.
That’s it for your dose of “Vitamin D.” Be sure to follow me on all social media @dawndaispeaks and until next time... always remember, "YOU are your greatest asset."

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to shining like the star that you are and what it takes to get there. Let me ask you something, have you ever dreamed of being great? Ever dreamed of being more and/or having more than what you have right now? I know I have. For some it may be fame? Fortune? A family? A house? A car? Whatever it is, it’s that thing that makes you feel “lit”…alive.
In the hit song, “Hickory Dickory” by grammy nominated recording artist Chika she belts, “I look at the stars they ask me what do I see, I noticed that lately, all them constellations been looking like me.” When you look in the sky…tell me, what do you see? When we talk about being “lit,” imagine being one of those stars…in a sea of nothingness, pure blackness and tapping into a light source inside of you. In comparison that very same light source is what we call your dream or dreams. You can’t get it from anyone or anywhere else and nothing around you is like you and as you know…if you don’t grind, you don’t shine and some of the best things take time. “Like, "Hickory Dickory", [your] clock has been ticking to victory. [You] don't have to fear in the world whenever it's time, [you'll] know they'll be listening.” So in the meantime keep pressing, keep fighting, just keep going until you can say, “I’m a star now. them visions don’t feel very far now.”
That’s it for your dose of “Vitamin D.” Be sure to follow me on all social media @dawndaispeaks and until next time, always remember, "YOU are your greatest asset."

Today's dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to being magical. Would you believe me if I told you were magical? Well, guess what? You are! Did you know that you can attract whatever it is you want out of life? Because you can. You know, sometimes I think we forget who we are and the power we possess. How we have the ability to attract whatever we want out of life.
In Ariana Grande’s hit song, “Just Like Magic” she belts, “I get everything I want ‘cause I attract it.” and so can you. I mean think about it takes electric currents (positive/negative) that can attract or repel something in a magnetic field. The same electric currents that send signals to our body and to our brain, Making it possible for us to move, to think, and to feel…aka magic! So what are you attracting? What are you calling forth in your life? Ariana sings how “good karma is my aesthetic, keep my conscience clear, that’s why I’m so magnetic.” Have you actively thought about what you are attracting in your life? They say, "what you think is what you become." So who are you? Or better yet, are you becoming who you want to be?
Take note from Ariana Grande and know you are “just like magic” and that you can have anything you want out of life because you can attract it. Because you are magical.
Welp, that’s it for your dose of “Vitamin D.” Be sure to follow me on all social media @dawndaispeaks and until next time, always remember, "YOU are your greatest asset."

Today’s dose of vitamin D is dedicated to protecting your energy. Do you ever find yourself getting caught up with what others think about you? How you should talk? How you should dress? What you should do? How you should do it? What you should believe in and what you shouldn’t? It’s exhausting, isn’t it? Trying to fit within someone’s definition of who you are and who you should be? Well, how about you just do you and do it unapologetically? I mean if you think about it, how can you expect to be your best if you don’t even know how or what it is to bring out your best and what I can tell you for sure, is... it’s not dictated by anyone else but you.
When I think about protecting my energy, about being solid in my “Yeses” and firm in my “No’s,” I think about the song “Fussy” by Malia. When she sings, “I’m flying so high that I don’t care what you’re thinking of me.” Imagine that…being above what others think of you because you know your truth and guess what, no one can beat you with your own truth. It strikes me as the motto of someone who moves to the beat of their own drum, because no one else can sing your song. That’s the same for you. No one can sing your song, because nobody can live your life but you. so live.
Live your life for you! live your dreams for you! Whatever it is… just do it for you and that’s where the peace resides. That carefree zen…in the zone space that... benefit of protecting your energy. I can’t tell you how important it is to my craft that my mental and my physical space is one…at peace…in my zone in my zen and that my discernment is keen and I trust myself because I have actively made the choice to choose me. To do Dawn for Dawn and to be honest... It isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. The world doesn’t always provide the support we “need,” but that’s why we have to fly high because the view is always different than below. So yes, I am particular about protecting my peace and sometimes I get passionate about making sure people don’t disrupt that space and like Malia, even when I’m fussy it’s “over the things that matter to me” and ain’t nothing wrong with that because just like Malia continues on…even “the fruit of the tree ain’t sorry to be where it’s sunny.” Mmm, did you catch it?
Welp, that’s it for your dose of “Vitamin D.” Be sure to follow me on all social media @dawndaispeaks and until next time, always remember, "YOU are your greatest asset."
