  • God Will Do It (Again)

You have survived 100% of the worst days of your life. Why would this time be any different? Do you have faith? Faith is simply having confidence in knowing. It's time to tap into your faith. Take note from from Tye Tribbett and remind yourself, "if He did it before, He can do it again. Same God right now, same God back then."

  • "He's Able"

I may not know the scripture like the back of my hand, but I know who God is in my life. And I used to equate the two. In fact, I would feel as though I wasn't worthy to say certain things or speak upon things because I didn't know verbatim.

But what I realize when we talk about faith, faith is simply confidence. And what is confidence? Simply knowing. Knowing who you are, whose you are, where you are, and where you want to go. And a reminder of who God is in your life. And recognizing that I have survived, and so have you, 100% of the worst days of your life. So I don't know what it is that you're going through, but you got to remember that you got through it before. You'll get through it again.

It's the same God back then as the same God right now. It makes me think of the track with Kirk Franklin, "He's Able." He says, "He's able. I know that He can do it. He said He'd helped me through it. You just got to “hold on, my brother your change is going to come. Be strong my sister for your work is not done. Just keep on believing and hold on tight. He's able to give you joy in the morning light." Every day the sun sets only to rise again in the morning. Remember, joy comes in the morning because “He's able.”

  • "I'm Ready"

Imagine your dreams and your best life saying they're waiting on you. Would you be ready to respond? I feel as though our best life and all the desires that we want are here right in the present. That's why we have to gift it to ourselves. But the question is, if they came knocking, would we be ready to answer?

I'm thinking about the track from way back when, "I'm Ready" by Tevin Campbell. He says, "Maybe I'm the fool you call me. 'Cause I'll be here standing, waiting to hear you say to me. I'm ready." And then in the chorus it goes, "You know I'm ready to love you forever."

If your best life, where you feel safe. Where you feel the most abundant. Your most joy was saying, "I'm ready to love you if you are ready to receive me." What would your response be? Well, it's going to require you to do a few things. For you to show up as your best self right now. And to be honest about what it is that you want. And then recognizing that you're worthy to receive it.

Everything doesn't have to be perfect. And no, there will not be a perfect timing. But just stand firmly in confidence and say, "I'm ready." You're ready because you're worth it.

  • Be Who You Are

Are you who you truly are, authentically who you feel that you are on the inside? I feel oftentimes we amend ourselves to appease other people's opinions. Whether it be their thoughts, whether it be their actions, because we aren't comfortable in being who it is that we are.

It makes me think about this track by Wyn Starks. It's entitled "Who I Am." And in it he says, "I've been closing the door all my life. Held it in, but not anymore. Got two feet on the floor. This is it, I'm stronger than ever before." It takes confidence to be who you are. So who do you say that you are? Realizing that nobody else is going to be who you are because you're a star.

He continues on, "Pardon my imposition, but this is my conviction. I need to get this off my mind. I got to be me. Got to be I. Got to be who I am inside. Can finally breathe, taking it in. Look at me I'm flying." Are you ready to go to new heights? Well, it's going to be a little uncomfortable.

You may not be able to feel your feet on the ground, but you asked for more, didn't you? You asked to be greater. More than where you are right now. What do they say? If you want to be great, you have to do things that great people do. And great people do things that everyday people don't do. So are you ready to be great?

Are you ready to be everything that you are destined inside. Forget what everybody else say and be you and just do you because you deserve it and you're worth it.

  • Smile

Where there is a new dawn, there is a new day. And despite whatever is going on, we still have to count it all joy. Everything is happening for our greater good. But you have to have the wisdom, the courage, the faith to believe it. To know it. Because what happens if things aren't, quote unquote, "all good" in your eyes?

Does it mean that it isn't good? Well, if you are a believer, we have been told, informed that everything is happening for our greater good. It reminds me of the track by Kirk Franklin, "Smile." And in it, he says, "Today's a new day. But where are my blue skies? Where is the love and the joy that you promised me? Tell me it's alright." Well, I'm here to tell you that you survived 100% of the worst days of your life. How do I know that? Well, because you're listening to me right now. And the same God that got you back then is the same God that's going to get you through right now.

So as the chorus says, "I smile, even though I'm hurt see I smile. I know God is working so I smile. Even though I've been here for a while." You have to remind yourself that pressure makes diamonds and you are meant to shine. If you can look up, you can get up. Your location is not your destination. Don't let what you see make you forget what God said. Because God said exceedingly and abundantly, far more than what you could ever imagine.

And when has God ever been slow to keep His promise? I want you to smile. Because if it isn't alright, then it isn't over. And if it isn't over, then it's not alright. So I'm going to smile. What about you?
